Social Club will be open TONIGHT from 7:00 to 10:30.
We are off and running with our All-Star panel!
Many thanks again to Greg Blayney, Kevin McKernan, Stevie Poacher, Ciaran McKeever and Mark Poland ¤ÅɤÅɤÅɤÅÉ
One final reminder folks, particularly if you're on the brink this evening. Come along and see what we have to offer! We've got tasty food on arrival, lively discussion with our esteemed panel, some great raffle prizes and brilliant live entertainment, all washed down with one of the finest pints of Guinness in the town. Tickets are only ┬Ż10 and can be bought at the door tonight, don't miss out on what promises to be an action packed night!
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, one of our star Panellists, Aimee Mackin, will not be able to attend tonight's event. But don't worry, we've got it covered!
In a late change to the starting team, Longstone and Down's Mark Poland will be taking her place at the top table. Mark has given fantastic service to the Mourne setup for the last decade or more and played a pivotal role in their unexepected journey to the 2010 All-Ireland Final. A journey interestingly spearheaded by then coach, and newly-appointed Down manager Paddy Tally. What better man to ask about this latest appointment than Mark, and who knows, could a comeback be on the cards?

Now for our final unveiling. . . Best til last? We'll let you decide.
Our final guest/Chairman for the evening will be local legend Stevie Poacher. Not forgetting a hugely successful stint with our neighbours Ballyholland Harps, Stevie has made a real name for himself in recent years for his coaching exploits on the inter-county scene with up and comers Carlow. Never one to shy away from the limelight, Stevie features regularly on GAA podcast Off The Ball and has divided opinion locally and nationally with his exuberant style on the sidelines. One thing we do know is we're thrilled to have him on board, and we know he'll bring the same enthusiasm to the table on Friday night! Did someone say Down job? #complete

Limited tickets available!
Our next guest will be Cullyhanna and Armagh veteran Ciaran McKeever. Best known in his early days as a rock solid defender, he proved his versatility in his later days with orchard county, operating as a target man at the edge of the square (banging in a couple of goals along the way). Although his playing days are far from over, he also continues to make waves as a talented coach within local GAA circles. We hope he can give us a bit of a tactical insight into what to expect to see during September's showcase between the Dubs and Tyrone #4down
We're delighted to announce that our third guest for Friday's 'Up for the Match' will be Down football legend Greg Blaney.
Widely regarded as one of the most gifted footballers (and hurlers) of his time, Greg played an instrumental role in the successes of the great Down teams of the 1990s. Renowned for his play-making ability and effortless style, Greg's list of honours and personal acolades really speak for themselves. Who is next?
Behind every great panel is a great woman! Our second 'all-star' panellist will be Shane O'Neills and Armagh ace Aimee Mackin. Aside from being one of the top Gaelic footballers in the country, she has also proven herself on international soccer scene with Northern Ireland and we look forward to Aimees contributions on the night! #2down
Our first esteemed guest of Friday evening will be none other than our near neighbour and Down stalwart Kevin McKernan. With an impressive honours list at club, county and schools level, we are delighted to have Kevin on board to give a bit of local insight to the night's proceedings. Next guest to be announced tomorrow evening. . . #staytuned
