A note for the diary!

Trinity College Chapel Choir from Dublin will be singing the 6pm Vigil Mass tonight , 13th January, in St Michael's Parish Church. Music will include Missa in honorem Sancti Josephi and Palestrina's Sicut Cervus.

Please join the Lassus Chamber Choir and me in the Cathedral of St Patrick and St Felim in Cavan Town on 30th July for a Memorial Concert for Francis Ledwidge, the very eve of the 100th Anniversary of his death in WWI. Jason McAuley will sound the Last Post! there will also be new music by Paul Flynn (me), and the poetry readings will be given by Noel Monahan. All welcome.

A friend of St Michael's Organ Recitals, John McLachlan, is having a premiere at this event next week in Enniskillen. Make sure to come as this promises to be an excellent concert.

Caecilia Bastian, one of our organists at St Michael's, is playing at the National Concert Hall, 24th June 2016.

4 in a Bar, who are singing in St Michael's on the 30th December have just been awarded the overall Winner of the Lyric FM 'Choirs for Christmas' competition. It's going to be some concert! Make sure you get there to hear them in person.

Post recital with Simon Harden last night. His recital completes our 2016 series. Thanks to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council for part funding the series and thanks to the organists, Parish staff, Mons O'Reilly, and all involved in making this happen.
