St Patrick'S College, Maghera

A bilateral, Co-Educational 11-18 college, situated in Maghera, County Derry Recognised as a centre of excellence for STEM, Performing Arts and Sport .

At St Patrick’s we have enjoyed excellent academic success for many years and we are renowned for achievements in Sport, Music and Drama. In 2007 the College was also awarded Specialist status and we are developing our reputation as a Centre of Excellence in Science. The College holds the Investors in People Award and has ET Laureate status for computer technology use. We have been involved in piloting Key Skills, the Revised Curriculum, and Learning for Life and Work. The College has and continues to maintain a strong tradition of curriculum development.
In January (2011) the College picked up the top prize at the Northern Ireland Quality Awards.
