The Knights of Saint Colombanus presents cheques to the New Lodge Youth Centre. These young people are going to Romania for the Romanian Project in three weeks time.
What these young people are doing is a living example of faith. They are heading to Romania to help out and also to learn. It is a fleshing out of the faith through actions.
The support of the Knights is them being true to their vision and objective of promoting by personal and group action a practical Christia...nity in all phases of life.
Tonight was a sign of bridging and connecting between the two. As a Catholic Church, there’s no better example on what Saint Paul said that we are all parts of one body (1 Cor. 12:12-27).
We continue to pray and offer a support for the NLYC, and we pray as well and thank the Knights of Saint Colombanus for their generosity.

Great - great - great grandparents were married in the old St. Patrick's in 1839. Great grandfather was baptised there on Christmas Eve 1865.
Beautiful mass at 1 pm on saint Patrick's day, brought my son to see the chapel where his Grandparents married in 1960!
Beautiful church, wonderful and caring clergy, and Sunday evening Mass @ 7pm should be on everyone's bucket list - a beautiful hour thanks to Louis McVeigh.
Baptised, First Communion, Confirmation and Marriage all took place in St. Patricks. My spiritual journey, happy and sad has been made through St. Patricks. I just feel at home there. Our priests are exceptional. They have seen, heard and dealt with much over the years but continue offering help and solace to those who need it. My resting place will be in one of the niches so God Bless St. PATRICKS. xx
Adored St. Patrick's from childhood, was Christen, made my first Holy Communion, Confirmation, still to this day will call in to light a candle and say a prayer when i am in Belfast....x
