Went yesterday with my son daughter in law and granddaughters had the roast turkey and ham and all the trimmings delicious all of us enjoyed our meal the service was good and the staff friendly all in all I had a lovely birthday meal and would definitely go back ,thank you

Well to begin with we have had a lot of occasions in the stables and it’s a great place , but recently we had my brothers wedding party here it was beautiful and food was lovely , tonight we had my dads birthday dinner there and food was beautiful and we had such a nice night thank you to all the staff it was lovely x

We have been to the stables for dinner several times and each time the service we received was excellent and our food has been outstanding. It's great to go to a restaurant where the food and service has been consistently great . Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Took my wee Mummy today Food and Service amazing. Paul and the whole team deserve a pat on the back for a well orgainised service.... nothing short of a Military Operation.

Thanks for making this a Special day not just Mothers Day. X

Our party of 14 had lunch at the stables yesterday for my mums 70th. It was a fabulous experience as we were so well looked after. Stephen Posner (duty manager) was absolutely fantastic as were the other staff. All our needs were looked after and we wanted for nothing. The food was amazing and the guys even blew up balloons, decorated the table and served the birthday cake we had delivered earlier in the day. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. A brilliant day and we will definitely be back.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in August 2017. The whole day was fantastic! And a big thank you to April who decorated our rooms and made the place look perfect! and also a thank you to Paul who made the day go so smoothly! I would definitely recommend The Stables to anyone for their wedding day! Thanks again!x

I visited the stables yesterday for the first time. We had a wee day out with kids and decided to pop in for lunch. The staff were absolutely fantastic with my kids one of whom is special needs and in wheelchair. They were very attentive and made time to talk. The food was amazing. The hole atmospere was lovely too id definately recommend the place and will def come back.

Had a group of 45 ppl here food was absolutely beautiful Must congratulate the staff who served at tables they were on the ball the whole time. And as well they could have a joke and a laugh. Def recommend here highly and will b bk.

Had a fantastic evening at the stables last night. We celebrated mum and dads 50th wedding anniversary we where so well looked after it could have been there wedding. Every member of staff where professional and looked after us so well. Thank you for helping our celebration run so smoothly

Great night at the George Michael tribute show. Great performance,excellent food and very attentive staff.

Called in for dinner sunday night had a beautiful meal cooked to perfection staff were well presented very polite but very friendly couldnt ask for more a lovely experience & will definitely be back xx

Brilliant staff and the food was delicious would recommend it to anyone xx

Brilliant night with the 80s and beyond tribute night. 3 course meal which was lovely and entertainment for £27. Great value. Full credit to the staff who were kept very busy all evening. If you haven't been, do support these events. Highly recommended. *****

Amazing- celebrating my birthday we were a party of 14 - very attentive staff & nothing too much trouble- food amazing, all meals well presented, hot & worth it's value, children welcomed and attended to - definitely will be back and would highly recommend - a right gem & thanks for a great afternoon

Ordered Ribeye and Cheesecake of the day. Was a really nice meal but the temperature of the room could have been a little higher. We had to sit with coats on and I could see other people around the restaurant with theirs on too but I would recommend the food highly!

The staff were lovely & helpful. Food was tasty. Service wasn't great as they couldn't reach to the opposite side of the table and practically threw it on the plates.

Went today for Sunday lunch as it was recommended to us so thought we would try, STEER CLEAR! there was 4 adults 3kids. When food arrived there wasn't any veg and little gravy also the mash was pathetic, we complain til the waiter and she went to find out what type potato it was turns out it's "unbranded cheap mash" which explains the dried out mash we were served rather than what is described on the menu as "creamy mash" it's was more like mash direct ready made! The manager then had a cheek to say well kids ate free which is all well and good that's the offer and insulted us by offering £1 off r bill, safe to say he wasn't too pleased when I said must b for the mash direct and to stick it where sun doesn't shine. To they say well he has over 200 covers!! 200 or not a complaint is a complaint and deal with it professionally! Most certainly won't be back for a big restaurant to serve cheap mash and not deal with complaints is unacceptable. Ud expect decent mash i.e Maris,queens etc! Not even my 10month baby ate it!!! Do urself a favour and head to Grace Neills for beautiful food and kids also eat free and better service!! #PaulYourATwat
