The B-Friend Hub Big Launch! What a lovely way to launch our new project! Omagh Volunteer Centre and Strabane Community project were joined by representatives from community, voluntary and statutory organisations from across Omagh, Strabane and Fermanagh at the Silverbirch hotel yesterday to celebrate and officially launch our B-Friend Hub project.
A big thank you to our special guests, Joe Mahon (Lesser Spotted Ulster), Alison Fraser (National Lottery Community Fund) , Eddie... Lynch (NI Commissioner for older people ) and to the Junior Choir , Loreto Grammar School for making it such a memorable occasion. Thank you to the Silverbirch hotel and to all of the businesses from across the 3 areas for their generous donations of gifts for our guests.

As our Grass Roots Café & Food market are now officially the community cookery hub for Strabane, we are kicking off our summer courses with a level 2 award in Food Allergen Awareness and Control, starting on the 17th June in our Grass Roots Café.
