Another local fight between 2 local gyms sees 2 lads who are just starting out go head to head to secure their 1st Win
... Since Ross walked through the doors of Strike at the beginning of last year he has firmly secured his spot on the fight team through his dedication to training and all round attitude. A great young lad to have around the gym he just shows up, puts in the work and is always eager to teast his abilities in sparring.
Matthew is also a beginner to the K1 world, he is another fighter who just wants to prove himself and get that win in front of the Derry crowd. Club Coach Jason McCabe is putting the finishing touches to his fight team bringin 3 of his fighters to the card on the night.
Both fighters will be bringing their all on the night.. who have you got?

Since joining Strike Brian has always had ambitions of becoming a fighter and the progress we have seen him make has been amazing, never one to back down from a fight he is in Search for another W to add to his early fighting record, a big future talent who is learning his trade and building his confidence
Sean will be a strong test for Brian, representing Naas Kickboxing under coach Dawid Blaskie who always brings talented fighters to our card.. Dawid himself, fought and won an ISKA Irish title on our Heat2 promotion, so he knows all about the atmosphere Derry creates for its local fighters and will have Sean well prepared.

Aaron will be making the journey from Belfast where he trains under Danny Corr, we have been working with Danny on some other projects under the Fight For Peace Alumni and its great to welcome some of his crew to the card.. Aaron will be composed and ready to rock on the night.

After a short break from the sport it is fantastic to see young Barry back at it, one of the talented young prospects who stayed with us when we ran our popular Mpowered programme in Currynierin, Barry has been training hard and has been looking very inpressive in sparring.
We welcome Marc and team Evolve back on the card this year, Marc is a fantatsic athlete and all round martial artist who competes on both MMA and K1 bouts. Marc was on the event a few years ago as a junior, we are looking forward to seeing him back in the ring again aiming for that win
