At times we all have bad days, sometimes even bad weeks or months.. The anxiety creeps in, you push it back and keep repeating until before you know it, it takes over. As I'm sure most of you know I work full time and when I say full time I mean every waking hour there is something that needs done.. my emotions really heightened and extremely sensitive.. To EVERYTHING. what are your coping mechanisms and how to manage anxiety?
I understand this isn't a fun topic but in the be...auty Industry anxiety can often be a lot worse. Being constantly demanded and sometimes expected to be on call at all hours.. Which I have been dealing with recently. I have reached the point where I am struggling to cope with my own feelings and emotions on a daily basis.. Where I would normally be able to stop, think and work out a calm and collected solve.. My brain is just explodin. Quite a personal post but I'm sure there are lots of you in the same boat so I thought I'd open up a bit in the hope that if someone reads this and is currently struggling themselves, you're not alone!
Hopefully friends (a select few) and clients will understand and work with me rather than against me. I am only human and without feeling myself my work won't be as good as it should be because I am extremely hard on myself.
Needing a couple of days to just be me, relax and gather my own thoughts is sometimes all I need, to just breathe. I will be cutting down my hours per week to allow myself time to get back to myself as quickly as possible. I would never stop working as I love my job with every fibre of my being but for the next few weeks I will have less availability than usual for this reason. I need to. I hope you all understand and if you have any questions or worries please feel free to PM me. There will be absolutely no changes to anyone's appointments from Monday onwards so nobody panic :-)

just back after getting my first set of acrylics with amy and im over the moon with them! amy was so easy to get on with and overall the whole experience was very relaxed.. will definately be back soon for my next set! thanks again �

Wish I could give 10 stars, had a bridal trial done yesterday, absolutely loved it and can't wait till my big day, Amy was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for her and being an older bride and worried about my wrinkles she made sure I was happy with the finished results, can't recommend this girl enough, a true professional with a great personality, so easy to get along with, will definitely be using Amy again, not just for my wedding, thanks a million Amy xx

Where do i start on how talented amy is. Nothing is ever a hassle for her. She goes above and beyond to deliver a service exactly how u want it. Always leave the salon feeling very happy with my nails. My mum is visually impaired and amy makes her feel very at ease and welcome. Can not recommend her enough. Any design I have ever showed her she has always done it to perfection and adds her own touch to make it even more perfect

This is the second time I got my makeup done with amy and wouldn't go anywhere else! Both times different ideas and nailed it both times!made me feel great for my birthday, can't recommend her enough, very talented makeup artist❤️Thank you amy!!!

I was here today for the first time and I am really pleased with my nails. I asked advise on the best colour and look for me. They are beautifully done. The atmosphere was very relaxed, no blasting music, and Amy was lovely to chat to. It is definitely the best Nail Salon experience I have had and the results look fantastic. I will definitely be going back.

I love going to Studio A Beauty with Amy. I'm always delighted with the service she provides. I love her acrylics and she does my eyebrows perfectly! No style is ever too much trouble and Amy has gone out of her way to get certain colours for me in the past. Amy is very easy to get along with and naturally puts people at ease. The prices are also very reasonable! Definitely worth a visit!

I had some Mia Wallace Halloween makeup done by Amy on saturday night and it looked absolutely amazing! She stuck a syringe to my chest at 6pm and it stayed put until bedtime at 5am! That's with going out and people pulling on it etc. So so good, everyone was commenting on how well i looked, will deffo be back. She was super quick too, had the whole thing done in under an hour! Fab!

I had a spray tan and makeup done by the amazing amy, such a great girl really easy to get along with, makes you feel real comfortable.. my spray tan was just perfect I was so pleased, such a gorgeous colour � & my makeup? First experience of having makeup done and it was just out of this world I've never had so many compliments in my life like I did last night because of Amy's beautiful and talented work! She had me looking absolutely flawless, have nothing bad to say at all was more than happy with everything and I'll for sure be back don't think I'd go anywhere else now that I've had a taste of Amy's work absolutely fantastic ❤

I had a lesson with Amy yesterday and it was top class. She is a great teacher and very friendly. I learnt loads of new tips and tricks. Chuffed! Will deff be doing another one soon

The wonderful bride and bridal party all got their tan, nails and makeup done and she done a flawless job along with making us all comfortable and having a good laugh with us!! I was showered with complements the hole night and so were all the ladies!! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you!!!!! Xxx

Had my nails done tonight by amy and i love them! they are perfect in every way. she done them exactly how i wanted them and she made me feel so comfortable the whole time i was there i would highly reccomend her and i will defo be back

She is so easy to talk to, funny & polite and had a lovely chat with her while getting my nails done! Won't be going anywhere else again and would 100% recommend to anyone, she also offers a large variety of other treatments for all your beauty needs and is incredibly knowledgeable about everything down to the finest details :) love love love
