The present owner Blair Hamilton started in the trade when he was still at school during the summer holidays then joined the firm when he was 14 years old (a long time ago). The senior mason Stephen Close has over 30 years experience in the trade as does the outside letter-cutter so we truly are stonemasons unlike many who have got themselves a sandblaster, rented a shop front and call themselves master craftsmen, having never served an hour to the trade or having any knowledge of stone whatsoever. We also offer a grave tending service to customers who want graves to be cleaned and restored, either regularly or as a one off. We can restore your loved one's resting place with new engravings, or just clean and restore the headstone and the area around it.
