Fitness and nutrition can be intimidating. There is always a new diet to follow or a new fitness craze! Where do you start?

Having followed fitness for most of my life as well running a family, my blog cracks diet and fitness myths. Working with clients of all shapes and sizes, we look at your goals and set realistic targets, for you! Having amazing clients helps of course; and I will show you some of the fantastic transformations that I have worked on.

My blog addresses the how to, why and what! I will share my secrets on fitness and diet with you!

A massive Congratulations to our client Natalie Hall who was first female home in Derry Marathon today with a time of 3.03.
We recently started working with Natalie providing her nutrition strategy for performance and racing. Damien and I also provided her with a Strength Program to assist in her running performance, recovery and injury prevention.

Client progress: Clodagh Rafferty @clodaghraff . It’s amazing what starts to peek through when you help a client reduce their body fat.
@clodaghraff participated in our 4 week bootcamps however she trained frequently before coming to us but couldn‚Äôt improve her body composition. The abs were already there. I tweaked her diet and reduced her calories which helped reveal her abs a little more. #bikiniready ūüĎô ... . I have been so sceptical about uploading these photos (hence why this post is coming 10 days after the photo was actually taken), but I wanted to give public recognition and thanks to both Tara and Damien Grimes.
6 months ago, I walked into my induction at @taragrimesfitness as someone who was completely drained from energy, someone who functioned on 2/3 hours of sleep, someone who was almost yellow in colour from lack of nutrition and someone whose mental health was on a serious decline. At some stage last year, I began to loose all my self-confidence and I needed to make serious changes, and this is when I decided to give Tara a message. Within weeks, my eating improved, my energy levels went up, my sleeping improved and as an overall result, I began to flourish.
One of the major things @taragrimesfitness has helped me with my eating habits. I was always known to be carrying lucozade, drinking at least 4/5 a day. My diet consisted of this and those red sugary sweets you can buy for a pound. I was consistently being checked for missing meals. Throughout these 6 months, my relationship with food has drastically improved; I am eating 3 nutritious meals a day and eating 2 healthy snacks alongside this. (Big shoutout to @martinadaly who does the majority of my food prep, making it all the more easier). The crazy thing is, although I’m eating the best and more that I ever have done, I am in the best shape of my life and I am the same weight as I was on my first weigh-in.
I cannot thank Tara and Damien enough for all their encouragement and support since I have started with them, answering every question I ask in regards to nutrition and pushing me to reach beyond my limits in my fitness classes. I cannot thank the Monday & Wednesday 8pm girls enough also, providing all the craic and again, being so supportive to myself and each other.

Thank you so much to this lady for allowing me to share her pics and story. I‚Äôm so proud of all my clients from all over the world, who are trying to improve their health. As you will read, little changes done repeatedly elicit amazing results. Well done ūüĎŹūüĎŹūüĎŹ . ‚ÄúIt‚Äôs taken me a lot to post this as I have always struggled with my body image and weight. I‚Äôve literally tried every diet and starvation process going! Nothing has ever worked. I bought the 10 Day Fat Loss Kick Start ...Programme to get a structure going and have followed the plan ever since. I must admit I am a very very fussy eater so have often supplemented foods but it‚Äôs the structure and the info in the pack I‚Äôve followed. Had I followed it to the letter my weight loss probably would be more! i don‚Äôt go to the gym but just do little things like parking furthest from the shop, taking stairs etc. The first pic was taken in late December and the second pic I took today with a stone and a half between the pics. I‚Äôm half way to my target so not fully there! But just wanted to post this as I know progress pics help me stay motivated! So nervous posting this so please be kind lol‚ÄĚ
