Tate Stevenson Architects Ltd Description

The practice was first established by John Tate in 1992 having spent 10 years working in a large Belfast based multi-disciplinary practice, were he worked alongside Chris Stevenson who was to join the practice in 1994. Both John and Chris brought their extensive experience of major projects to the new practice, to ensure clients received a professional and attentive service which delivered high quality design within the constraints of programme and budget.

To cope with the increasing workload, the practice expanded into purpose built offices at Newtownbreda in 2002, and in 2005 the practice became a limited company. 2006 saw the establishment of the Omagh office under the management of Colin McCaffrey who joined the practice in 1997 and was made a director in 2005.

Whilst the practice continues to develop and grow through recommendations from previous clients, the directors recognise the need to widen this client base and portfolio of work and are actively pursuing a marketing strategy that will ensure the practice develops on a broader spectrum that includes commercial, industrial, educational, private housing developments along with social housing.
