TDS Northern Ireland offers a tenancy protection scheme and dispute service for all private tenancies in Northern Ireland.

Tenancy Deposit Scheme Northern Ireland is based in Belfast and has been authorised by the Department of Social Development to operate both a custodial and insurance based Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.

We are non-profit organisation, owned by The Dispute Service Ltd who run the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in England and Wales, and also provide key services for a tenancy scheme in Scotland called SafeDeposits Scotland.

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme protects private tenancies as the law requires, and if there is a dispute at the end of the tenancy, we offer a free and impartial dispute resolution mechanism.
