The adventure in October will see them hiking across beautiful valleys and lush green gorges, before making their way up the mountain Mulhacen to reach the 3482m summit. рЯПФпЄПрЯЪґвАНвЩВпЄПпЄП

You never know what you might find in a Thames Hospice charity shop! Serial charity shopper Simon recently visited our wonderful store in Henley and found himself a perfect pair of shorts, it wasn't until he got home he found he got more than he had paid for... a wad of Gambian Dalasi notes were stashed in the back pocket! The beautiful Gambian currency equated to ¬£8 which Simon generously donated back to us! рЯШАрЯТµ #charityshopping #everylittlehelps

Thames Hospice took such good care of my mum, Rita Haji, in the last 10 days of her life and I can never thank the staff and volunteers enough for their support for my family through the heartbreak and grief.

User

My son Richard stayed there for just over 2 weeks and with their care I was able to bring him home for his last days. He had cancer. All the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much. Such a beautiful setting as well. I can't thank them enough for everything they do

User

I sadly lost my dad to cancer this morning. Thames hospice has been amazing the past week. The nurses, doctors, volunteers & HCAs have gone above & beyond to look after us as a family, and make my dad as comfortable as possible to the end. A massive thank you from all of the BirchmoreвАЩs for all you have done, and all you do for each individual that walks through your door. An extra special thank you to Gabby who looked after us all all evening/night and until the early hours. пњљ

User

I could not rate this hospice any higher, and 5 stars пњљ really doesn't do it justice. The staff here looked after my best and closest friend in her final hours, but not only did they care for her magnificently, they also took the greatest care of us, and made our situation seem a priority, despite having many other patients. They were there when we needed them the most, making sure we understood everything that was happening, holding our hands, giving us a shoulder to cry on when we needed it, providing endless cups of tea - the list really does go on. They also treated our darling girl with total respect and dignity, even after she passed, and were so gentle with her. Her deepest wish was that she would be in the hospice in her final days and, even though our time was robbed, she was there for hours only, but I can see why she wanted to be around these amazing people. Truly angels do walk with us, and these girls deserve the recognition пњљ we will never forget what you did for us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts пњљ пњљпњљ
