μaOH (Microbiomics, AMR & One Health Lab at Queen's University Belfast is driving research into understanding and tackling antimicrobial resistance in microbiomes of living systems. We are based at the School of Biological Sciences at QUB home, relying on the supportive professional atmosphere found in this community. We are a vibrant, supportive and multicultural team, which you'll soon find to be a home away from home Our research in antimicrobial resistance focuses on three broad areas which apply bioinformatics in the human-veterinary-agri interface: Understanding antimicrobial resistance in microbiomes from a One Health perspective through surveillance and epidemiological studies. Tackling antimicrobial resistance through the discovery and development of novel treatment options for various clinical and veterinary applicationsExploring microbiome interactions for the development of diagnostic tools.
