The Blackthorn Pipers' Society

The Blackthorn Pipers’ Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Bagpipe music within the region of Ireland (both North and South).

We see this society as a way for:

Pipers to air tunes in public ‘so to speak’
Those that have an interest in our music, don’t hear enough of it, and want to come along and enjoy an evening of pipe music.
Introducing new compositions.
Having guest players playing.
Members to broaden our knowledge of the instrument.
