This young chap has apparently had one too many last night 😅... However, being the gentleman that he is; has sent us this heartfelt apology for his actions. Can anyone think of an appropriate punishment for him? We want to "find it in our hearts" to forgive him, but we aren't sure if doing "the dishes or shit" will suffice. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! 🤣

We were on holiday so decided to have some food, after visiting museum and botanic gardens.

Following great recommendation we all went for fish and chips.

We had a very good service from lovely lady and food was delish.

Was in the bot last year with my in-laws from Holland. Had a gorgeous Sunday dinner. We got a free drink with our meal. I mentioned my in-laws were from Holland. The young barman brought us a cocktail each. Thought this was one of the nicest things to do. Will beback next year. A great place to go. See you next year when we're over from Holland.

Spent the weekend in and out the Botanic Inn. Had a great weekend! Lovely atmosphere! The staff truly couldn't do enough for us! Can't thank you all enough for all your hard work and help! Will be back x

Could of been a few more people but it was enough.. mako would of loved it!!!

I was here last night for a few drinks with friends. While I was here a man toke a photo of me and would not give me any proof that it was deleted when I asked him to do so. The staff and door staff were so good and made sure the photo was gone and he was removed from the bar. They then kept apologising which they did not need to do and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had a good night!

Great craic... every night of the week. Sundays with football are the best though.

I went on the staff Christmas party. The Santa was a bit dodgy but everything else was great. 😋

First time ever in The Bot and can't fault it at all. Lovely staff, beautiful food and amazing drinks!!!

Brilliant bar to watch the rugby in, great craic!

Very poor, wont be back. Cattle market is an understatement! Last nite there was a group of about 15/20 lads, jumping over furniture, throwing coats everywhere, so drunk they couldn't talk. Instead of throwing them out, the bouncer just told them off snd left them to it. If it had have been 4/5years ago, those boys would have been long gone, just shows how desperate the botanic really is for business. ....awful hour spent there!

Took them 25 minutes to bring the wrong thing. Served a vegetarian chicken curry and when asked to change it just removed the chicken and re-served it again. Avoid!

The Bot has gone downhill badly Wine selection very poor no decent Gin glasses no Pinot Gregio

Staff really rude and the lack of toilets a joke!! In fact the mens toliets in bar where so so unclean!! The music being played before and after the rugby was so so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak. It's been i while since i was here and there's a good reason! Will not be back near the place!!

My daughter was there on Wed night when leaving at the end of the night her and her friends were caught up in a fight which was already happening outside her friend was pushed to the ground( by fellas) and my daughter was pushed to the ground and hit her head on the ground and was knocked unconsious. When her friends tried to get her back to the Bot she was reluctanly let in given a glass of water and put out and told to sit in the bus shelter. At no stage was she offered any help to get home or phone her parents. I have worked for many year in bars and clubs and always looked after customers. I spend all day thurs in A&E with my daughter on a drip suffering from concussion lucky thats all it was and nothing more serious. Even though it was outside your premises you still should be looking after the safety of other costumers. You still let people out while this fighting was going on. How many people have died from a single blow to thehead?? thank god my child was lucky.

Not from the area and have not visited this vicinity but if the online service is anything to go by I would strongly advise AGAINST it or using any of the online purchasing facilities offered by this company ....Completely unreliable....customer service/customer satisfaction is not even a consideration.
