Went on a Friday night and it was dead. All the students go home at the weekend! Might be better midweek.

Got some chips, they were good chips and at £2.50 I can't complain haha

Not too rush and the place has nice and joyful environment.

Can't remember the last time I've been when it's been busy. Outside is you're best spot if it's a dry night.

Great bar. Friendly staff. Great for sport. Rugby and GAA for sure and probably soccer too. Food and drink are reasonably priced and the atmosphere during the 6 nations or other inernational rugby matches is epic.

Fair play to the BoT for opening their doors early Saturday for the first (and all) Lions games. With a good crowd and a decent breakfast !

One will always have a favourite pub. Most certainly not the best pub in the city, but there's something about it.
Cosy, mostly quiet, it's great if you want to relax and enjoy your ale at the end of the day.
