Well what can I say you have redeemed yourselves. Myself and my mum had the biggest bowl of heart warming soup, served up with lightly roasted weaten bread.so homely.
What Lovely atmosphere created for Halloween. Thank you.
Huge thanks to the staff last Saturday night. Our large group was very well looked after & the staff were infinitely patient with the kids who loved their ice creams οΏ½ (they all now know how to pay draughts too! Board games a great idea!)
Highly recommend, great customer service! I said I was doing Slimming World and asked if I could make any changes to my chargrilled chicken, she said she would tell the chef anything I needed! So stirfry veg done in as little oil as possible and boiled plain rice instead of chips! Also got sweet chilli sauce instead of pesto! Very happy SW bunny!! Will be back!
Excellent customer service and fantastic food, Great relaxed place to catch up on work with WiFi and tables that you can charge your laptop at. Caters for families with kids too, with board games and the like to keep the wee ones entertained.
Hubby & I love the coffee here & their home made scones are a real favourite of ours service is always with a smile and staff canβt do enough for you. Yesterday they where really busy and looked short staffed we had a little wait on our coffee but got tucked into our scones and where offered some cool iced water while we waited on our coffee which was lovely staff that where there deserved a pat on the back for couping so well and quickly caught up with the rush we received apologies from our young girl server who give us our coffee. Scones where lovely as usual staff lovely even under pressure will be back soon.
Was very poor got a feel good fry it was cold poached egg was awful sent it back and the second fry wasn't much better my nephew got a scone and it was hard won't be back
Just today. Lentil soup no flavor had add loads salt .stil not right. . Very watery. No body to it .in fact taste more tomato than spicy Lentil. Thought at first as it was beacuse it was served cold but when you microwaved it. Remains the same. The bread .?? Is this a paticular bread as it's dry and hard ? Steal ? Type of maybe gluten free . Love other trips here but today not so good. Sorry.
Very poor service yesterday. Waited 30 minutes for a couple of sausage rolls and a panini, then asked the staff would it be much longer as we were in a hurry. Was told it would be 5 minutes, still nothing appeared, so we left our table and asked for our food as a carry out. Another 5-10 minutes passed and then I noticed staff starting to heat up our food! I asked the member if staff was that my order she was starting and she said yes, I said just cancel it and asked for a refund. The manageress witnessed this and at no stage did she step in to try to rectify the situation. Refund received minus our drinks, I think it was have been a nice gesture of good will to have given a full refund. Previously waited an hour on food, so should've known better. Lesson learnt, won't be back!!!
Had to ask to get the table cleaned, then Jacqueline got her salad, She told the staff member exactly what she wanted on her plate and they stuck a load of lettuce on her plate which wasn't asked for and was minus the egg. When i complained was told they ran out of egg. Then i had to go back up as they had'nt given us our drinks. Between that and the lamp inccident about 3 weeks ago its no wonder Jacqueline does'nt want to go back there. The only plus sides was the tomato soup was good and a young staff member (who wasnt part of the original ordering etc) sorted drinks out.
