Folks, we are touched with the many messages to see if we are doing take away! We really intended to do so from last friday but then the lock down was announced and so we thought it best to temporarily close altogether.
You ain't shot of us, we WILL be back and when we are, you're gonna need a smoke after one of our epic frys!🤭
I'll do my best to keep updating this page with some funny things but I have 2 kids who think xmas has come early with mummy and daddy home all day,... so we have become human climbing frames!😆
We still love you, we still miss you and we still as eager as ever to get some lush provisions in your belly. It's just gonna take a wee bit of time, until lockdown is lifted. Please don't forget about us!!

It's a small gesture and I dont believe they deserve the clap- they deserve far more.

... Seriously though. If you are medical personnel, if you are front line, please know that you have our utmost respect and when this is over, you will get the recognition you truly deserve.

Its hugely different to what people could have imagined! We will run our Mothers Day menu when this all blows over, and it would be a pleasure to have you =)
Meanwhile, I think it's important to find a positive to this current situation. My positive for The DB is that I can comply with social distancing and isolation in the garden- I'm gonna use this time to get our beautiful garden in tip top shape ready for when we reop...en!
