What a fantastic place! We had an opportunity to visit with some very good friends from Belfast. Living in central Indiana we have nothing like this. Walking on the cobblestone streets into the way leading to the Duke of York is amazing. Best of all I was able to have a pint if Guiness with good friends.
Visited in the afternoon, good beer, good atmosphere and great people will definitely be going back on our next visit to Belfast.
Unbelievable ambience! Friendly staff. Great fun! Every inch of the place oozes history. Absolutely fell in love with the place.
The snow was pulled high outside but the warmth and craic inside was 90. One of the best pub visits of anywhere
Such a cool place! Will be back when I return to Belfast next year
Live band were fantastic and definitely worth a watch
Great service and the best spot for people watching , sit back and enjoy
Great pub staff very friendly and amazing membrobilia around the place deffo worth a visit
Great location , very good selection of beers , warm staff , good Pub
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and bouncers, music is amazing. My new place to go
Great atmosphere with a lot of history, collectables and art
Fantastic friendly staff,So nice we returned to this bar later in the day, and a Brilliant doorman, who really looked after us ,when we had trouble getting in anywhere for food, went out of his way, sorry I never got his name but it was Saturday,28/4/18,about 6.30pm,first time in Belfast, but will definitely return, and we’ve passed the word on to all our Friends/Family.
Fantastic atmosphere. First time ive been to the bar as ive visited from England and will be back again. Loved the fact of the whole lane as a beer garden and everyone walking past could gwt a drink and join in listening to the live music band.
Excellent service from the bar staff, friendly and attentive to us ‘non regulars’. A good pint of Guinness - although the price reflected its inner city location and the pub’s iconic status.
Brilliant atmosphere and the entertainment was 1st class
Amazing time, music first class. Atmosphere out of this world.
Always call into the Duke of York for a pint when I visit Belfast, great bar and friendly staff make it a must. Be back next month for annual visit to Christmas Market [my excuse] lol
No cider on tap, therefore can't really be considered an actual pub.
This pub has the worst staff that I have ever come across , I wouldn't step foot in it again , after waiting for 20mins and then for the bar man to say that he wouldn't serve us because I was "wrecking his head" the manager was not much help either.
