Was in today 01st April 18 (Easter Sunday) for a meal with family, food, staff, service were all exceptional, especially Sean & Colleen who made us feel very welcome, Ps also a great pint of Guinness!!

User

Was here for lunch today with my parents and our Miniature Pinscher who goes everywhere with them. We chose here because we wanted to take the dog with us and also because I had heard good reports. Food was amazing, we were all stuffed, including Montse who ate a few bites under the table as well. We were particularly impressed with how Montse was treated as the premier guest and had her water bowl and biscuit before we had our drinks and she loved being the centre of attention in the restaurant as well when she went for a little wander around. Would highly recommend this place, whether you bring your four legged friends or not, but we will certainly be back. Thanks for the very memorable meal from all of us.

User

Very welcoming & interesting place to stop, eat and enjoy. Had a meal of sharing our plates, food was excellent. GOT door is amazing & the GOT Throne is fantastic. We'll be back to visit.

User

The staff were so friendly, paid our pup Donard lots of attention and brought him a big bowl of water. We enjoyed delicious Jawbox Mussels and a Steak & Guinness pie! We would highly recommend!

User

My family and I went for some pints and food last night, and had a fantastic time. Not only was the food super yummy and service very fast, the staff were so lovely! Everyone was very attentive to our dog’s needs (supplying loads of dog treats and water), and really personable.

The staff went above and beyond when they contacted me personally about finding my purse (after I left it behind and hadn’t even realised!). My belongings were kept safe and sound, and handed back with a smile.

A fantastic place with fantastic service!

I’ve stayed here on three different occasions in the last eighteen months and never been disappointed. Rooms are nice ( haven’t been in refurbished one yet), food is great ( fabulous breakfast last Monday) and the staff are wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Was buzzing last Sunday night and some good music in the bar. Really really recommend it.

Having ate here a few times for lunch when we would have been up the coast, we stayed 9-11 February for 2 nights with our 9 month old pup, Lexi.

The accommodation was excellent, in the annexe building behind the main building, ground floor - the room was spotlessly clean, a really good size with a double and single bed, tea/coffee facilities, TV and a good size shower and bathroom facilities and nice and warm. Being on the ground floor was brilliant to let the dog in and out as well. There was a hallway from outside which meant that our wet, mucky/sandy boots could be left there and not mess up the room. The staff were absolutely lovely, every single one of them. Excellent service and just so friendly, especially to our dog - it was a delight to be there. And I haven't even touched on the food yet............ well, what can I say but fabulous. We ate in the restaurant both nights, having had long days out walking, and were spoiled for choice. Live music on in the bar on the Saturday night which was nice.

Would definitely recommend it for a night or two up the coast if you like walking / sightseeing & great to be able to bring the dog. Thanks very much guys - we'll be back.

User

Had lunch here with some of the family. I had a burger with salad and garlic mayo. As a side which comes with the burger I had garlic fries. Everything delicious. Don't know about the accommodation as we only dropped in for a quick bite to eat. Atmosphere was great so we'll probably call again when in the area.

User

Had a great meal tonight. Staff are really friendly and we brought our golden retriever Kyla with us, she was made very welcome. Food was first class, mussels in Jawbox gin with ginger and coconut cream. will definitely be back.

User

Great to be able to bring the dog and have lunch before we head up the coast. Lovely staff and food and Ansel liked his water and biscuits. Thank you.

User

Fantastic food and staff. Great spot for a bite to eat when you have your dogs with you. #dogfriendly

User

Excellent - we popped by for a late lunch - the pub was really busy with a couple of coaches outside- great pint of Guinness - food was fantastic, great selection and service was friendly - mussels were great with good choice of sauces - we'll be back!

User

Absolutely superb from start to finish. The welcome was as warming as the stove fire greeting us. The food, coming from an excellent and varied menu, was amazing. I'm a seafood fanatic and to have a separate menu dedicated to mussels is a stroke of genius. The service was excellent and not just to myself and Cee but also our black lab Pedro who thoroughly enjoyed himself. Always a bit dubious of places who say they are dog friendly but The Fullerton Arms more than hit the brief. Couldn't recommend it enough.

User

A hidden gem for dog owners , dogs welcome in the bar , plus dog friendly rooms .

Excellent staff and food , have been here twice now and will be back again , take the dogs for a hike on the beach , then have Guinness and the fantastic mussels after

User

went yesterday for a meal n must say was lovely as were the staff.nothing was too much trouble.we asked to see one of the refurbished rooms and they were more than happy to let us have a look.will definately be back

Stayed Saturday night. Any preconceived notions I had were quickly dispelled when we were shown to a room out the back, not one of the recently renovated. No wall lights, no small table to sit at and read the papers, no bathroom cabinet or shelf for toiletries, etc, noise from the room above constant gave me the impression that £60 would be sufficient and not the actual cost of £95. That said the food is fantastic and the breakfast first class. Would stay again if I could get one of the new rooms.
