The Giants Barn is a busy cafe on the gateway to the very popular Giants Causeway. Due to our continued growth & success we are looking to add to our very hardworking team of staff. We are looking at recruiting in the several different areas, and aim to recruit in two of the three positions we are advertising. The main qualities of perspective applicants are work efficiency, speed and very hard work ethic, so we aim to select the most suitable candidates to develop our busine...ss. We offer competitive rates of pay,pension and sociable working hours.
Food Service Supervisor:- (full time) For this exciting new role we require applicants to have a background in cooking and baking, and also experience in dealing with customers. The role itself will involve a range of duties, from food service management, kitchen management, ordering,cooking, serving, clearing and cleaning. Applicants need to demonstrate maturity, adaptability in different situations, speed, efficiency, punctuality and the ability to work and lead a team. This role would suit anyone who has a background in catering who wish to adapt their career into management.
Counter Staff- (part time/full time) The main duties are serving customers from our busy servery with hot and cold food, drinks service, clearing, cleaning and dishwashing. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate urgency, speed, maturity, punctuality and possess and good working attitude.
Cook/Chef- ( part time) 20-25 hours per week The main duties are batch cooking, baking, managing food service, managing stock, orders, cleaning and possible dishwashing when needed. The applicant should have experience in a similar role, and be prepare to help in others areas such as serving or clearing if needed.

Defo a must stop and one of my highs of the coast tour lovely food that caters for all people pallets meat eaters and vegetarian! They even do gluten feee food � staff are so friendly place is very clean and well kept excellent toilet facilities and great wifi thanks for the hospitality �

Called in here for our lunch break, on the Game of Thrones tour. The food was delicious (I had the steak and Guinness pie), and considering that they had a coachload of people to serve, they did it very efficiently. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Called for coffee this morning. The sun was shining. Lovely staff, lovely coffee and lovely fresh scones. Will definitely be back.

Called on Saturday . .. just after a bus load of people had climbed back onto their bus!! Not a sausage left for us!!! we called again on Monday for scones and tea - pricey enough for what we had but it's on the doorstep of the causeway so you.might expect that. Really nice scones!!! Someone next to us had the pie and it looked lovely. Will be back again for some chocolate cake which looked gorgeous!
