Today we had the very talented Diane from Charlottes Web Floristry hold a workshop in @The Green. She used the hedgerow as her theme and we think she has captured it beautifully.
So what about Wednesday evening tea cooked over the campfire! 🔥🍲 5.30pm -8.30pm You can pm or book on line. "It's great fun" .....that what Aaron told us after he visited us a few weeks ago! 😀 Being out doors improves mood, contributes to better sleep and increases feelings of positivity. Well you get all that and your tea, sounds, like a good deal to me! 🌿😀🔥🍲
Delighted to welcome our morning cyclists! Refreshed, refuelled and back on the road after a well earned rest. Thanks to everyone who came, who shared and liked the event. What a fantastic spot! Four mature (?) students headed for the Green for a post-graduation detox. We had only a brief stay, but the surroundings, accommodation and welcome made it feel like a week. We returned recharged and refreshed. The Green is in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and is also so close to the stunning Mournes, and no distance from local shops and amenities. Couldn't recommend highly enough, Many thanks for accommodating us on such short notice,
Stayed here with some members of my hillwalking group at the weekend.....ideally situated with its close proximity to Mournes.
This cottage is luxurious and fitted out to a high spec. Spotlessly clean and the large communal area has a great atmosphere when fire is lit. There are a number of great outdoor facilities inc fire pit and oven and nearby stream with stepping stones and walk.
Highly recommend this accommodation and when other apartments are ready in nearby complex it will be a fabulous site for hillwalking groups to stay in together.
Just back from a visit to the fantastic 'The Green cottage' what can I say! Such a beautiful holiday home, amazing location! Can't recommend it enough! Can't wait to go back!
I would highly recommend this place, the accommodation is excellent, the surrounding countryside can only be described as breathtaking. Our welcome was warm and friendly, we will definitely be heading back again.
Had another wonderful trip to The Green during a recent visit to Ireland. So lovely to try out the new pizza oven and then shelter inside by the cosy fire. Loved the new bridge.xx
