The Grit+ Experience By Opportunity Youth

The GRIT Plus experience is a week long programme for young people (aged 16-24) where they participate in a range of activities including fun outdoor games and challenges as well as workshop based personal development programmes.

The GRIT Plus experience is a week long programme for young people (aged 16-24) where they participate in a range of activities including fun outdoor games and challenges as well as workshop based personal development programmes.

The aim of the week is to challenge young people to look at their lives and the decisions and actions that they have been taking, and to reassess and refocus themselves for the future so that they can participate more fully in civic society. The week's residential is followed up with a series of one to one mentoring meetings with the mentoring staff allocated to each young person.
