When you are unwell with vomiting, diarrhoea, fevers or shaking STOP taking any of the following medicines.
ACE inhibitors-names ending in 'pril' eg linisonpril, ramipril... ARBs - Names ending in 'sartan' eg losartan, valsartan NSAIDs - anti-inflammatory pain killers eg ibuprofen, naproxen DIURETICS- water tablets eg furosemide, bendroflumethiazide METFORMIN- treatment for diabetes
Restart your medicines when you are well again (24-48 hours of eating and drinking normally) *If in doubt contact your community pharmacist for advice.
