Absolutely amazing food and the service and taste is absolutely on or even above par with fine dining! Was here last Sunday with family and I have never been so impressed with food! The presentation is beautiful and the gin selection is amazing!! I highly recommend it especially the Sunday menu, 3 courses for £20 is an absolute steal! Will definitely be back xxx

Well what can I say if I could give this place 10stars I would.

We often eat out in the antrim area and wow this has to be the best meal I have had In a long time and we will definitely be back. We opted for the 3 courses for £19 steak night and everything was cooked to perfection and not forgetting the girls that served us they were very attentive and didn't over crowd us.

This is definitely a hidden gem. #we'llbeback

My wife and I were here for dinner tonight. It was the best meal out we've had in a long time. Friendly staff and great service without being overbearing. The food, the food was outstanding. I can not recommend this place enough, best restaurant in the Antrim area.

My wife and I spent a wonderful evening tonight (25th July 2018) at The Holestone in Parkgate. First impressions of the restaurant can only be described as outstanding as we pulled into an ample, well positioned parking area directly outside of the premises. On entering, we were immediately greeted by a wonderful young Dark haired employee who couldn't be more friendly, accommodating and professional. Within minutes we were seated at a comfortable window table with our menus and offered glasses of water, which was poured by our wonderful host. Several minutes later again and we have free delicious complimentary sour dough bread, olive oil and garlic butter which was a really nice touch. During this time we were being serviced by our original host and also another young employee whose demeanour and friendliness was second to none. Between both of the girls, there was a steady flow of service as they worked the entire restaurant without slipping on quality and attentiveness with drinks arriving without delay, then with just the right amount of time in between, our starters arrive, then once again with just the right amount of time again our starters are removed before our main courses arrive once again with just the right delay in between...hard to beat. As far as the menu was concerned, there was a great diverse choice with not too much to confuse the brain which I find to be very refreshing. For starters, my wife had the soup of the day which was Carrot and parsnip which was seasoned perfectly and a beautiful shiny texture to die for, which was accompanied by the best Wheaten bread that we have ever tried, with what I think had a beautiful subtle taste of ginger running through it...unreal. My starter was the Salted Chilli chicken, which was cooked to absolute perfection, with an amazing aromatic dark outer coating with beautiful moist chicken within accompanied by vegetables and everything once again seasoned beautifully. For our mains we had the Rump steak and Pork fillet which were outstanding, accompanied by a combination of Salted Chilli chips, baked mashed potato, a medley of vegetables with a mushroom sauce and for me the star of the show being their mouth watering Chorizo and bell pepper sauce which was mind blowing...even writing about it now, I'm salivating at the thought of it. My wife and I are very fussy when it comes to the quality of both service and food and yet when it comes to The Holestone, we are absolutely blown away by the whole team. I can safely say that we will be bringing our friends, family and clients from our businesses to your restaurant to share with them, the heavenly experience that we both appreciated.

Just had the most beautiful meal at Holestone tonight. This was the first time my husband and I have been to the restaurant, having just moved to the area and I can honestly say that I loved every mouthful. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the service was great. We will soon be back, our new favourite restaurant

We were a table of 9, with a high chair and we didn’t go wanting for anything.



The food was fantastic, as was the service will be recommending it to everyone!

Asian cod bites followed by vegetarian taglietelle with carrot and kale crisps with wild mushroom, roasted garlic bulbs and spinach with a cream parmesan sauce... the 4 of us had a lovely time we all loved the food from your delicious menu!
