The Learning Hub Mid-Ulster Description
The Learning Hub is an education tuition service based in Mid-Ulster, providing both small group and one-to-one tuition in the following areas:
Foundation Level, KS1 and KS2 in numeracy and literacy.
We are established transfer tutors, with excellent results and feedback to date. As well as transfer tuition, we also offer support and confidence building assistance to pupils who do not intend to complete the transfer test. The main aim and focus of The Learning Hub is to develop and improve the literacy and numeracy skills of KS2 primary school children in a friendly, flexible and affordable manner.
We cover most secondary subjects in KS3 & KS4 right through to A-level.
We are aware that parents and children alike face many challenges, and at the Learning Hub we endeavour to help everyone reach their potential.
We have a strong ethos of support, excellence and achievement as well as a high level of teaching experience and qualification.

Transfer Test Small Group Tuition 11.30-1pm 😊😊 4 week blocks, max 4 pupils per group. All own resources and papers supplied.

We will be running a small transfer test group starting after mid-term break in February, Saturday 11.30am - 1pm.... Group will cover key areas of both literacy and numeracy in detail and as we head towards the summer, we will be working on practice papers. PM for more details, limited to 4/5 pupils.

***We are delighted to be launching our ever popular summer workshop programmes***
We are offering 6 week, small group workshops (2-2.5 hours per week) for current: *P4 pupils *P5 pupils... *P6 transfer pupils - practice paper workshops *P7 pupils preparing to go into Year 8
The purpose of these workshops is to cover the key areas of numeracy and literacy to help prepare your child for their next academic year. Places are limited to 6-8 pupils per workshop with a minimum of two teachers present. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. ***Easter Transfer Test Workshop***
Over this last few years, we have established ourselves as being one of the most experienced, trusted and successful transfer test support providers in Mid Ulster. This years’ exceptional results reinforces this.
We are pleased to launch the Learning Hub’s:... Easter Transfer Test practice paper workshop
When: Thursday 5th April Times: to be confirmed Duration: 2.5 hours
The objectives are to: - Familiarise pupils with the layout and structure of transfer tests - both papers and answer booklets. - To get pupils comfortable working under timed conditions, among their peers under exam conditions. - To improve their confidence in relation to the test process.
All the papers and resources we use for transfer test preparation are our own. They have been devised and reviewed by our team on an ongoing basis. Pupils will receive their marks along with feedback and guidance for development at the end of the session.
