Sadly folks, our last day of trading will be 31st August 2018. We would like to thank everyone for your custom and support over the last year it’s greatly appreciated. We hope to see you all over the next few weeks for your final “little plate” experience. We will continue to the best of our ability until closure 😢
We started out with the intention of opening a restaurant that was unique to West Belfast something to make us stand out from the rest. Initially the success was f...antastic, however recently we haven’t been as busy as we hoped and its time to call it a day.
If i learned anything it was how vital support for local business is. I sincerely again want to thank those who supported us. Please give as much support as possible locally as starting and maintaining a business is some sacrifice and I believe that anyone who has the courage to do it deserves our support.

So here it is. Belfast city councils idea on how to improve business in west Belfast. This company contacted us stating it was going to provide a boost to business in west Belfast. I questioned it at the time but after persuasion from my other half I decided to give them a chance. The original email discussed innovative ideas to boost business for example “fathers day events”. I hope you all enjoyed them as I didn’t see or hear of one. After ...4 weeks of setting up a Facebook page they have accumulated 281 likes, considering our own page has close to 10,000 I will let you make your own conclusions as to whether or not you think this is value for money 👍
So there ya have it £20,000 for Aiken PR and a £20,000 budget to implement 🙈

great food tonight. I have been before but tonight was my favourite so far. service was friendly and fast. The food fresh and portions big. very good deals on. just gutted there was no prawns left as the fish if the day was my favourite so i imagine they would be delish. just a good excuse to go back soon. :)

Won the little plate competition on Sunday. Best surprise ever.. Hot & tasty Sunday roast delivered to my door. Food was top notch, every bite was tasty & delish. Highly recommend. Nicest Sunday roast I've had in a long time. Thank you again guys �

What can I say about the Little Plate that has not already been said. Quite simply, fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, every dish was delicious and words alone cannot express how delicious the food was in Little Plate. All I can say is please please please try it for yourself!

Went with my boyfriend last night for the April deal, 5 little plates, 2 sides and 2 cocktails for £30



We were seated for 8pm, the waitress told us there might be a 10/15 minute as there was a large party in, this didn't bother us at all, she brought us complimentary bread and dipping oils for our wait, this was a lovely gesture



Our food came about 15 minutes later and have to say the food was absolutely amazing � especially the chilli beef, highly recommend it



This place is quirky inside and is also a bring your own which is a bonus �



Didn't get the name of our waitress but she was 10/10, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us



Can't wait to go back!!!

Went on Saturday night. Couldn't believe how cheap it was. Got the 5 plates and 2 sides for £25 TOTAL!!!! daiquiris where great as well. Plates when they come Out look small but they have the perfect amount of food. Wasn't to stuffed felt good after it. Girl working was really nice. Just needs fans for the hot evening. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying it. Definitely be back soon

My friend and I had a beautiful meal here last night. 5 little plates, 2 sides and 2 cocktails for £30. All gorgeous and lots for the two of us. Staff were lovely and really friendly. Great relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyable evening. Thanks Little Plate.

Me and my daughter had a beautiful sunday roast dinner deliver from the little plate today. The roast beef melted in your mouth and the cabbage and cream pototoes were beauiful to i would highly recommend them for sit in are taking out to my friend and family

Just home from a beautiful meal, absolutely beautiful food and fantastic service. Fionnula went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. 10 out of 10 and more. Definitely be back. Wee gem of a place x

Have been a few times now. Lovely space. Very tasty food. Faultless service. If you are a plain eater its not the place for you. Each dish has lots of flavour/ingredients. Especially love the nachos. They are like nowhere else's. Will be back as much as possible �

Fabulous place. The food and service is superb. Try the £25 deal for 5 little plates and 2 sides. We couldn't finish it

Called in at 9:10pm last and the Food and service was excellent 1st time there last night will defo be back. Got the 5 little plates and 2 sides for £25 great value for money. 👏🏻

Had dinner for two here and really enjoyed it. Chose the £30 option for two - 5 small plates, 2 sides and 2 cocktails. The food was lovely and the staff were attentive and friendly. Hopefully it’ll become busier over time. It’s nice to have another different choice of restaurant on the road �

Went today for lunch and had a mixed experience. The staff were lovely though seemed under p in a not very busy environment. 1 staff to serve food, drinks, take orders. Our order wasn’t right and had to wait for the children’s dinner to arrive a while after the adults (not ideal) We thought we had gotten fish goujons when cutting into it as it tasted like it and had the same texture. We were wrong. But the little person didn’t eat it regardless. It tasted like fish (same batter?) Didnt enjoy the fondue. Loved the chilli chicken. Nice wings, lovely chilli nachos. Burgers overcooked but had they not been would have been great.

Was in the restaurant tonight brilliant staff and service. Had the salt chill chicken and couldn’t eat it was just pure salt defo need to look at the ingredients, also had the fish tempura which was lovely just very very little the plate was covered in salad mostly. Other than that everything was lovely!

Have been previously for tapas so I expected a similar standard for their takeout menu. Food was delivered quickly which was a bonus. However a few comments regarding quality and pricing. I felt £1.50 for a can of coke was extortionate, even by restaurant standards/paying for overheads etc.

The chips were lukewarm and very greasy. The ciabatta was nice, but doughy and had to add more sauce to it.

Based on this I wouldn’t reorder a takeaway lunch but would certainly visit for dinner again.

Really diasapointed came for birthday dinner, oringally the food I wanted “ is only served on lunch menu” and stops at certain time. Thought menu was very limited for Saturday night. Daddy paid £10 or over for big burger and came in a muffin??? He also oringally wanted steak and was then told their was no steak left. Staff were so so nice and friendly only reason didn’t give it 1 star is because I always like to support small shops/business.

Not one for writing comments and have never done a bad review but I eat out quite abit and heard such good things about here so ordered online spent 27 Pound on ribs with French fries and garlic bread. The French fries were soggy chippy chips they werent french fries, the garlic bread had no garlic and was covered in coleslaw that I didn't ask for and cold, the canned drinks were bubbled at the top and roasting and the ribs were not the best and covered in sauce not cooked in the sauce at all. Sorry but it just wasn't nice at all and was really disappointed. Such a shame!!

Called in on a Sunday evening and the place was empty. Welcomed by the waitress and told to sit where ever we want.



Ordered the Salt & Chilli Chicken and Sirloin Steak medium. The Salt & Chilli was ok, nothing special but the steak was well done and looked like it was dry cooked. The meat looked grey. It was unseasoned and very bland.



The “crispy” onions were far from that, more stale than anything. Peppercorn sauce needs work too. Chunky Chips were ok.



Much improvement needed to make me even think about coming back.
