The Lock Keeper'S Inn

Service is terrible, I was there at a quiet time mid week and there were two staff in the kitchen doing nothing while one poor girl was trying to take orders and make coffees. I waited 15 minutes for a very average cappuccino. If it wasn't for the fact there is nowhere else to get coffee nearby, they would have been out of business a long time ago.

Nice café. Good place to grab a coffee when out walking in the park. Also check out the cottage and hear the story about George the original lock keeper. Seemed a good lad.

This is a nice cafe. I usually have some scone and tea. A large selection on offer, something for everyone. A relaxed place with some outdoor seating. Can get very busy.

I've only been here once as part of an eco therapy session. There is a historical cottage and river barge where volunteers answer questions and give you information about the place. There is also a great scenic walk and if you are lucky Northern Irish wildlife can be spotted on your trail. The cafe would be my only complaint which I found a little expensive.

Very slow service, even when not busy. Staff seem more interested in each other than serving customers & can not seem to find anyone when orders placed. Simple numbered flag system needed. Coffee & hot meals can be served cold. Needs an overhaul!

Have been here a few times and the service and be very bad when busy. On a few visit my order has been wrong, and when trying to ask about the meal you get told that is what was ordered. Is very disappointing that they don't handle stress too well.

Great food, fantastic location. It can be overly busy and difficult to get seated sometimes (especially weekends, holidays, sunny days) but that's understandable given its a fairly small building.

Lovely coffee, great location. Just a real shame that the bloke at the table next chose to smoke a cigarette. Shame staff didn't challenge him.

Beautiful Scenery beside the river Lagan, nice picnic tables for outside eating and drinking as well as an indoor area and toilets. Food and service is very good.
