WE'RE OPEN! Wrap up warm #LoveCoffee #LoveTheLockKeepers

User

We had lunch here today. 4 mums with 4 prams. We sat outside in the sun but standard northern Ireland it started to pour. The staff were so helpful getting us in out of the rain and were so accomodating. It was very much appreciated!

User

Stopped of for breakfast on a wee walk to the Titanic. Excellent service, good coffee and quality food served by friendly staff.

Well worth the visit and will return when next in Belfast.

User

Lovely staff, beautiful setting and quality food.

Recommend the porridge which is served hot and tasty with its own maple syrup!

No one as good when the sun shines!

NB

All facilities bare 100% dog friendly!

User

Lovely food!!

User

Love the location and even when busy staff cope really well . I can honestly say I've never been disappointed ! Being a mom of a hockey enthusiast I'm there a fair bit and it's just great to switch off away from traffic and noise ! Totally worth a visit 🍳☕️

User

Had birthday lunch today with grandson - fabulous food, great service and brilliant friendly staff - highly recommend and will definitely be back again

User

Great spot for a spot of lunch and lovely cup of coffee. Even frozen yoghurt for the fur babies!

User

Beautiful place to spend a leisure day

User

At the Lock Keepers this morning for an Ulster Fry and coffee with Australian relatives and other family members. This was our final stop before taking them to the airport and I have to say it was a perfect ending to their stay with us. The food and coffee was superb and the sunshine was an extra bonus. Thank you Lawrence.

Used to cycle across to here when I was at Mary Peters course Barnetts Demesne! Very busy place and cycle parking round the side plus dog friendly too but with plenty of seating and tables outside to enjoy the outdoors or the is a smaller indoor eating area also.

User

Really like it, very popular with all ages. Varied menu every day providing good food, though slightly expensive! Lucky to have plenty outside seating, which is great for dog owners, but hard to get a table inside as quite small. Overall very good venue and just the right place for it!!

User

On a walk from the Belfast Boat Club along the river I decided to stop for a coffee and a scone with a friend. Got a table number and chose one of the outside benches.

My Americano and my friends latte were delivered in a timely manner. The scones came with two individual portions of butter and a small container of strawberry jam.

As the scones were quite large the two butter portions were needed. It was very enjoyable and my Americano was acceptable.

For just over £8 I guess it was par for the course, price wise. It was a one off, I wouldn't be doing that every day but for a special occasion it was fine.

Paid with a contactless credit card, so much more convenient.

Despite being extremely busy yesterday our hot food arrived well within the half hour wait we were warned of. However, not being able to see the blackboard menu before the till leads to delay in ordering and I felt the pressure of the large queue behind me. Food of excellent quality when it arrived.

User

Beautiful setting and staff very pleasant. Food good. Was there with family yesterday and go regularly with family and grandchildren. Great to see dogs there but can't understand that some owners just allow them to run around unsupervised in the presence of young children at the eating areas. Scary!!!

User

Come here quite often with my dog.

Nice place but over priced. Today I had a Thai Beef Salad (very small with lots, lots of chopped chilli and some random olives and sun dried tomatoes) and a bottle of water for £10.10.

User

Ach Lawrence - checked your closing time before dragging my wee 70+ year old mummy along the towpath. We were allowed to take out (thankfully) but lots of families weren't as fortunate as us and were turned away. I mentioned the closing time on facebook to your staff as did some of those turned away but they said that 6pm closing is for summer....suggesting sweetly you change it on here so as not to disappoint potential customers and lose any more business. My green tea and German biscuit were yum though! And next time I visit I hope I'll be giving you a 5 star review!

User

Such a shame to rate this place a 2 as its such nice surroundings and has so much potential. However came here a couple of weeks ago with my Mother, Nan, sister and Nephew. Service was extremely poor (grumpy sighing waitress who was clearly taking her bad day out on everyone else) and while we all have bad days it should never effect the service provided. As a beauty therapist working with the public every day i would never in a million years speak to any clients like that or have an attitude no matter what they had said to me or what kind of day i was having. Toilets were absolutely disgusting, no toilet roll or hand soap and NO baby changing facilities .. Infact we had to leave and go elsewhere for my sister to change nephews nappy. (The disabled toilets may have changing facilities but they were locked and out of service!!) toilets smelt awful aswell. Won't be back!!!

User

Service was awful - girl on the till was insanely rude to not only me but all the customers in front of us. How she has a job I've no idea. I'd suggest to get rid of her as she's losing this business custom! Pity as the location and food is usually great - wanted to order food but after she rolled her eyes at me I decided to just get a drink to go.

User

Went here to get a coffee and tea had to wait 30minutes and was not even told this until a member of staff Informed us. I could understand the wait if we had ordered food too. But for a tea and coffee, the wait was outrageous! Safe to say I won’t be rushing back here. Very poor service.
