Mixing it up a little this morning in the kitchen with our scones. We have put some dark chocolate with our raspberries and added some lemon to our white chocolate scones. Might need to bring a friend with you and sample one of each. Also available to take away.

Stopped for a wee bite to eat with my wife and daughter, had a scone which was probably one of the softest and nicest I've tasted in a long time, very impressed!

Picked up some platters for work today and they were fantastic. Mixture of hot food, sandwiches and cupcakes. Great presentation of the food and very tasty. Thank you!

One of the best places to go for lunch, amazing choice of delicious freshly cooked food. Generous portions and as for the desserts..... you have to try them as there are no words to justify how fabulous they are..... the epitome of excellence!!! Would be great if evening meals were available, something to consider maybe?? �

I just want to thank the two very honest people who visited The Loft on Thursday and having found my engagement , eternity and birthstone rings ( which I accidentally dropped in the toilets ) they handed them in to the staff . When I discovered I had lost them I was distraught and having retraced my steps I went back to The Loft where the staff treated me so well and tried to console me. Another staff member then appeared with all 3 rings safely in an envelope waiting for their owner to return . ME� My day could have ended badly but I am so grateful to the very honest people and very caring staff. Thanks so much again �

I always have a great experience of food in the Loft. The range of tray bakes and scones is amazing. There is always a wide range of hot food that spoils me for choice.

Had coffee and traybakes in The Loft this afternoon, both were delicious! The staff are so friendly (thanks for coming to find me to give me the bottle I left behind). Hope to be back soon �.

Food is amazing. Tables perhaps a bit too packed together and add buggies to the mix...That aside v v busy as always. Did i say the FOOD IS AMAZING...great choice �

I attended earlier with my eldest parents, the girl serving the hot food snapped at my mother when she asked about the quiches and various dishes, she didn't like being asked basic questions continuing to point at the board, she embarrassed us, beyond rude, ruined our dining experience

Despite the signage displaying gluten free options, very disappointed when stopped for lunch, only a choice of one hot meal or filled gf bread roll, no chips either as they are coated in flour! ZERO choice for dessert, not even pavlova as they use cornflour containing gluten???, and a mouth watering selection of traybakes of which there were none that was gluten free, we were pointed in the direction of pre wrapped traybakes that can be bought in any supermarket. It wouldn't be hard to have plain chips. A roulade, pavlova made with gluten free cornflour! A cheesecake with gluten free digestive base. These would cost them nothing to do and has no effect on the non gluten free customers

there breakfast was dried up and the egg looked as if i had been in the oven for a week!! would not hurry back
