What a lovely meal we had tonight at the Newbridge. This was our first time and needless to say we will be back.The place was buzzing and the staff were very friendly. Our meal was perfect and our wee waitress Emma couldn’t have done enough for us and others. She definitely knows her job and how to treat customers. We had our table booked and just had to wait about 10mins but as soon as we were seated the service and food was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

Was here yesterday with my bestie having a birthday lunch for her son. 1st time there since it changed hands, lively friendly staff, food was gorgeous, and not rushed. Will deffs be back �

Very friendly staff, nothing was a bother esp as 2 of our party were late...great selection on the menu (too many nice things!) Starters were fantastic, mains were great, although desserts were just ok (pear not poached enough and the cake bit with it was poor tasting, cheese board good but keep the sauces separate as it ruined it) oh and of course the Hendricks South Side was lush �

So having read some comments and reviews we where reluctant to try but we decided to go and I’m delighted we did, the food was simply fantastic, service was brilliant and the atmosphere was lovely, a fabulous Mother’s Day meal and we will most certainly be back!

On entering The Newbridge, the Customer is treated very well by Staff, from being shown to Your table and discussing the menu. I alway find they (the Staff ) are very professional, knowledgable and helpful.

Drinks orders were taken and served, prices on offer made the actual drink very cheap.

Meal orders taken and served, the food was great, flavour , amount and presentation, prices were reasonable.

I would recommend this Newbridge Restaurant to anyone.

Their Sister Restuarant, The Tides would fit into the same comments 100%

In for tea on Sunday evening 3rd June near 5 with the wife, kids and granny, staff so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely stunning , can’t wait to get back.

I haven't been to a nicer restaurant in a long time. Loved the decor and the food was gorgeous. Will definitely be back. Would highly recommend it

First time ever here and we choose this place to bring the kids to share our wedding anniversary. Food was unbelievable the chefs definitely no what there at. The food and drink service was brilliant anything we asked for was got straight away so friendly and good atmosphere

Fantastic restaurant with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. Food was gorgeous and portion sizes are generous!

The lunch / evening menu offers are brilliant.

Staff are great with kids.

We went out for a family meal here . Food was lovely although i found it a bit pricey . We were charged for side even though it was 2 for £12 and it stated side was included. Unfortunately we didn't realise this until next day and was too late to return.

Both times I have been here, I’ve found the food to be absolutely delicious. The first time I came, the service was slow - but I tried it again to give it a proper chance and rightly so. Tonight was much faster and the food was amazing yet again. The prices are very fair and the portions are decent too. I will be back!! �

Was disappointed I ordered fillet steak medium to well when cut into it blood just ran out of it, it was more rare to medium. Once main dishes was lifted and requested dessert menu I still had to send my son to ask for them again eventually we got it ordered dessert but it was very slow. Service not up to scratch food was ok

Really disappointed with my visit to The Newbridge arrived for lunch with American visitors 6 adults & 2 kids. Sat for 40mins waiting for our order to be taken although people arriving after us were dealt with straight away. Finally had to go& ask for someone to take our food/drinks order. A further long wait for food, which to be honest was just ok. None of the staff asked if we needed anything else or if everything was ok - felt embarrassed in front of the visitors as I had praised the restaurant beforehand.

Beware the poached pear! They cook it in cooking whiskey which isn’t noted on the menu and that is the only thing I have been able to taste since. I am a big fan of desserts and this is the only dessert I’ve ever had that I can truly say is disgusting. Apart from the powerfully overwhelming flavour of whiskey, I’m a breastfeeding mother and if I had’ve known there was whiskey in it, I never would have ordered it. The manager assured me it has very low alcohol content but it still has alcohol in it, so I ended up abandoning it!

While the pasta main I had was nice, that was overshadowed by the dirt of the baby changing table. I swiftly removed the dirty mat which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time and had to wipe down the actual table as it was also dirty before I could put down my own mat. The manager assured me she would clean it there and then. Hopefully it will be cleaner for whoever else goes to use it as I certainly don’t intend on going back.
