The Northern Region Recovery College Description

Offering everyone including those who have lived experience, carers, staff, volunteers and members of the general public the opportunity to learn from each other and to develop skills to manage their own recovery journey or to begin a new one.

The Northern Region Recovery College is for the community, based in the community. Local volunteers, leisure and communal facilities are used to teach not treat. Our philosophy being to deliver an educational rather than therapeutic approach. Where we focus on strengths, talents and resources to help explore possibilities and develop skills in order to assist you in achieving your goals and ambitions.

Everyone has challenges, everyone can learn. Our courses provide the opportunities to encourage individual recovery, wellness, empowerment, progress and life-long learning.

We hope this page will give you the information you need to help you make decisions about enrolling as a student and the courses you may wish to sign up for.
