The Other Place

Kid friendly eating stop / coffee shop in the outskirts of town. Decent fry and coffee. Good service , free WiFi, kids high chair and dinosaur picture to colour in. Clean and fresh toilets .

Upon entering the restaurant myself and another member of my family were kindly greeted and seated by a member of staff who I believe is called Holly.

There is such a wide range of options on the menu but we both opted for a burger and a side of garlic sautéed potatoes. The burger was to die for and the garlic potatoes were the best I've ever had!

I will definitely return to the other place and recommend it to all my friends.

Love the other place!! Me and my colleagues are in all the time. The atmosphere is chilled out and the staff are always chatty and smiling. Service is fast and the food is always brilliant. Plus the prices are so reasonable. Love it :)

Booked a table at 8pm for four. We ordered our main course which we finished and the table was cleared, the girl removing the plates didn't speak or ask if we wanted a dessert. Had she of offered at this stage we would of had plenty of time for a dessert. After a while a second girl came to clear the glasses from the table and we commented that we weren't offered a dessert. As walking from the table without given eye contact or speaking in a good mannor she barked out with attitude that they closed at 9pm. They all then stood at the till point with hands on hips waiting for us to pay the bill. I found the girls rude and their attitude unnecessary. None of us will be back!!

This place is amazing to go and eat in with your family as it is a quite place to be in. Although they do not sell alcohol and you have to bring your own. There is a wide variety of different foods for you to try. The portion sizes are very good and the pricing is very cheap for good quality . I would definitely recommend this to other people.

For an ultra fussy eater I have no complaints at all. Great food, atmosphere and super friendly staff. Surpassed my expectations completely. 🍽 😋

Nice food for a decent price, hard to argue with.

The food was great, just what we needed on a cold wet day. Although the door blowing in a cold wind stopped the five stars.
