Went last nite for a family meal. 18 of us. Nothing was too much trouble! Lovely atmosphere, great decor & absolutely blown away by the view: table looking out into the square & all the gorgeous Christmas Lights.

The food was phenomenal! Had the roasted tomato soup taster & it was so lovely warm & spicy. Perfect on a cold nite. The Brioche burger (with jalapeños) was absolutely gorgeous & brilliant portions. My husband had the steak & in his words ‘was cooked to perfection’. The girls waiting on us were amazing. And colouring in items for the younger kids was a great touch. The BYOB option is brilliant, although I could’ve stayed all night. Can’t wait to go back. I would highly recommend Tbe Pickled Duck. You will not be disappointed.

Went for the first time to try the restaurant menu on Friday night. It was absolutely excellent. The food was great, the staff compeletely great and it’s a great backdrop looking out across Guildhall Square. Brilliant to see young business people in Derry taking the bull by the horns and creating their own markets and not relying on the local authorities to bolster their chances. Also great to see the link up between all local businesses on the area backing each other and developing a culture of self reliance and a shift away from the pubs. If you eat out once for the remainder of 2017, choose The Pickled Duck. 🦆

We really enjoyed our yummy lunch in the new Pickled Duck Out of Town. Stumbled upon you by accident on the way to the shop, what a pleasant, and tasty surprise. Great food from an extensive menu, and a lovely friendly welcome. The place looks fabulous, and is so spacious too. We can't wait to get back for more! :-)

We always eat here when in town , the service is first class and the food is to die for . My daughter is a vegetarian and has tried different places she has said “this is the best place ever to eat in”

I would go as far as saying it’s the best restaurant in town.

Was in today for lunch, both the food and service was excellent. We went for the chicken roulade special and the Hoisin duck. Both dishes were amazing, it's a brilliant place especially if you are coeliac and need gluten free! I'll definitely be back again! Would definitely recommend this place �

Was in last night for the Kinship event! It was amazing the food the staff and that all staff gave their time free and all money made what to this fab charity! The Pickled Duck is credit to Derry and the food was pretty amazing!

Visited for mother's day - Fabulous atmosphere, the most friendly and welcoming staff and top quality grub - Well worth a visit and a re-visit and a re-visit - Loved it !!

Omg was in your new one yesterday Kiera, service was amazing and food was even nicer, location is fab and parking right outside...so convenient....beautiful decor...good luck and best wishes....if you haven’t been here yet hurry, well worth the visit!!!

I had lunch here last week on Greenhaw road, when we arrived I couldn’t help but notice a female employee helping a woman, who seemed to have a disability, eat and enjoy her ice cream. I just thought it was such a beautiful and thoughtful thing to do. I’m not sure of the girls name but I thought i would leave a wee review and let everyone know how welcoming the cafe and there staff is. It was my first time eating here and I will definitely be back �

Have been twice so far and can't wait to go again. The food is amazing presented well and great service.

Have been in for lunch many times before and always great! Went for the first time last night for their evening menu and it was fantastic! The food didn't disappoint and the staff are as always, where very friendly, warm and inviting. Couldn't recommend enough! �

Had dinner here in on Saturday evening. Food was lovely, great atmosphere and staff we amazing. Would definitely recommend this quirky little restaurant to anyone thinking of trying it. Thank you guys.

Derry just keeps getting better and better! The amount of places with fresh, delicious, well prepared food is growing daily, and The Pickled Duck is leading the way! I had the spicy chicken and haloumi wrap with chips and it was gorgeous, perfectly seasoned, moist and oh so tasty, can wait to go back.

Ok here goes. I was in today and although we had a long wait to order it was worth it for my dish! I ordered the duck cakes! which were absolutely gorgeous bursting with flavour served on a bed of red cabbage and a sauce to die for! Delicious!! Hat's of to the chef.

Although the person I was with, ordered the chicken and brie bagel which arrived very mediocre and disappointingly with a teaspoon of coleslaw. In her own words could have made better at home. The filling was slight and served on a Huge plate! I was served a bistro style lunch which was amazing while she got served nothing more than tea and toast! The level between kitchen serve and counter serve needs to measure up! Please take as positive criticism. I will definately be back for duck cakes!!!
