We stopped on our way to Derry for a drink last Saturday and had to get stopped for food on our way home from Derry on Sunday. This place is amazing! The food was out of this world and the staff were so friendly! We will definitely be back soon!

We didn’t have a booking on a busy Sunday afternoon however they got us a table. Despite this and place being very busy service was quick and efficient and the food was great. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Took my husband here last night for his birthday food was beautiful staff very friendly and helpful can’t fault it in any way.one of my favourite restaurants will defs be back 🙂

Stopped in for lunch on the way from Belfast to Strabane. One of the best chicken Caesar salads I have ever had. Loved the fresh anchovies. And the salt and chilli chips are to die for. I'll definitely be back

Myself and 2 friends stopped off at the ponderosa for the first time on sat 2nd april....we each had a starter and main meal...all different ..and each and every one was beautiful....(the garlic mushrooms were amazing:-) )......in fact it was good we called back on the sunday again for lunch...again great friendly service and beautiful food...one small point was when asking if we cud change a pepper sauce to a mushroom sauce we were charged as an extra...instead of just a swap....but it wont put us off going back again...in fact were looking forward to it.

Had a booking today and manageress was absolutely amazing sorted a few hiccups and then some, will definitely be back thank you for making my friends birthday even more special xx u r a credit to ponderosa xx �

Brilliant place we were on a coach trip and stopped off here for breakfast arrived early and had a complimentary tea/coffee while we waited for our meal food was excellent staff friendly and helpful We will be back

An absolutely first class experience, very professional staff and a great welcome. The main courses are lovely but the 5 Stars go to the Jam Sponge dessert, it is awesome!

Food was great, and staff were hard working but there was just not enough staff on, they had no chance of providing decent service. With children in our party, the wait times to be served made it very stressful.

Heading back for a friends birthday meal this weekend and hoping that there might be more staff on to hopefully make things run a bit more smoothly

Once seated, no drinks order taken, then waited over 30minutes to order our food which was only main course and restaurant was not overly busy and while ordering our food a drinks order was taken....then a long wait once again for our main to be served, where the chicken was pink! And to top it all off no drinks had arrived! Then again had to ask a member of staff where our drinks were, I am not one for complaining, but wrote to the page personally to discuss the issue and just to make them aware of the issue, were then to send out a complimentary voucher..,this did not happen, again were to send out another as it must have been "lost" and still no sign...simply the principle that they do not care about their customers what so ever, will not be back again and ensure to let all friends and family not to go either..

It was truly awful, we popped in for Sunday lunch, my turkey was reheated crap, dry as sand with black marks through it. My husbands chicken escalope was actual rubber, grey and we both already feel unwell after our meals (20 minutes down the road).

With not much change out of £30 it couldn't even be called a cheap shitty meal.



I think environmental health need to visit.
