The Royal Irish Regiment Description

This is the Official Facebook presence for The Royal Irish Regiment. It is the last remaining Irish infantry regiment of the line. The 1st Battalion is based in Tern Hill, Shropshire and is currently leading the development of the British Army’s new Light Mechanized concept, utilising the latest light armoured vehicles. . The 2nd Battalion is an Army Reserve Battalion and its headquarters is in Lisburn, Northern Ireland with company locations across the province.
