second time here and great place. fab decor and staff friendly and very helpful with choice of drinks. good atmosphere and good live music. it's a tad out of the way but well worth the visit, we'll definitely be back.

Wonderful little find. Great music and lovely cocktails. Bar tender was on her own and could have done with help but she was very capable. Will definitely visit again and look forward to checking out the other floors.

Went sat night past and reserved a table we got our own waitress emma and stephaine helped out too both girls were lovely n bonus we didnt need leave r table to go to the bar. Decor is lovely and good atmosphere and the live music was really good and bar prices wasn't that bad actually reasonable.will be back

Went last night for the first time & we loved it!! Got a table as soon as we went in & loved the look & atmosphere straight away!

A waitress called Shauna came and introduced herself & said she would be looking after our table for the evening that she did. She was very attentive & kept the drinks flowing all night.

There were three different bands on, all fab.

We will defo be back soon (though will have to wait for this hangover to pass)

Went in on Tuesday night around 7,very impressed by the decor,the atmosphere was very welcoming,was offered table service however we just got our drinks at the bar and brought them to a table at the back which we would not have seen had we not used the toilets (very clean which is a +). Very spacious with a very good cocktail menu, will definitely be returning!

Was there for the first time on frid night had a ball staff and the bouncers which to be fair normally get spoke about for wrong reasons were lovely. Would highly recommend the tipsy bird . Will defo be be back......

Was in on sun evening.. staff met us at door. Really friendly.. beautiful bar... hubby said Guinness was perfect.. Will be back for a girls night for the cocktails, which looked amazing...cant fault!

Popped in for a wee look on our way home on Saturday evening. What a fabulous place. The doorman was lovely when I enquired if it was ok to go in at 6.30 as people may be eating..... 'your grand cos there's no food here, it's all about the drink'. Gorgeous decor and friendly staff. A great relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back. A wee jewel .

My friend and I visited the Tipsy Bird last Thursday for the first time ever and we were both super impressed by the place. The decor and the atmosphere is fab. The bartender who served us was extremely friendly and recommended cocktails from the menu. The cocktails were the best I’ve tasted in a long time and with the 2 for 1 offer we sampled quite a few. The guy singing later in the evening was amazing - didn’t get his name but he was awesome. We will definitely be back! �

I visited with a few Colleagues for a cocktail making masterclass in October. We had a fantastic time learning how to make the various drinks in our private bar. The quality and number of drinks available was excellent and represented great value for money.



Seamus, who ran the Masterclass, was great. He ensured a relaxed fun atmosphere with a bit of competition in the form of cocktail making races. He tailored the evening around us and made sure everything worked out well. He also taught us a little about the drinks we were making so that we could make them again at home.



I would absolutely recommend this cocktail masterclass to others and I would definitely visit again next time I’m in Belfast.

First initial impression of walking into the bar on a Sunday early afternoon, was the appearance is very girly and cute. Then the smell hit me of stale alcohol smacked me up the face. Unfortunately I lifted a cocktail menu fm a nearby table which was soaking wet (eww)...so not feeling very enamoured we went to the bar. Received a dry cocktail menu and was told by the bar staff to take a seat. We hmmed and hammed over the plentiful choices of drinks. When the waitress came over I asked her could the tipsy bird make me a cocktail that i havnt seen on the list. I gave her the ingredient alcoholic drinks...unfortunately they didnt have rhubarb liquer (letdown)..but had rhubarb syrup (not going to do it for me)...i politely declined and instead pkd a long swallow... Now everything was ok fm that point (not takin into account smell which seemed to dispate or the wet menu)...The waitress arrived after a time (obvs genuis at work)..and took our payment (£10 handed over, change £4.10)...no change given and she walked away!!! Confused...so were we...after 10mins I walked up to the waitresa who had served others and asked for my m8s change...waitress stated Im waiting on barstaff to give me yr change dnt worry i will be over soon!!! wtf...felt sooo stupid...Hangon I have never been here b4...is this yr policy to not let customers knw that they wmt get their change immediately or be told to wait...jes to walk away..not even a i dnt carry money so i will wait for yr change...nothing...first time there will i be back ummmmmm......

Luckily was able to find a table upstairs that was big enough for our whole party, and the guy who was doing our table service was fantastic! He made a few mistakes and occasionally was a bit slow but there were 10 of us so hardly surprising. We all loved his humour �

Went for first time with friends at tea time on Friday. The decor is stunning but live singer was so loud we had to shout to each other to try & chat. I asked for no ice in my drink twice & both times it came FILLED to the top of the glass. The 2nd time when I said I wanted no ice the bar man rolled his eyes ... not good.

Drinks service let it down, spent half night without a drink because took 20 mins each time to be made and it wasnt even busy!! When walked in told it was waiter service but ended up having to go to bar cuz no one came near us. Really disappointing because it's a lovely place.

Went here tonight for the first time, got the 2 for 1 cocktail deal and was told at the bar all our cocktails were 2 for 1. When the bill came we paid as if everything was the right price, our waitress came back to tell us the bill was £15 short, we paid this thinking maybe we had counted wrong but checked the bill after and realised we'd been charged full price for 4 drinks, we asked the waitress who asked for the bartenders details when she ignored us twice after we called her over and asked if she'd questioned it, she then accused us of lying, we asked to speak with the manager who came over and once we explained the situation ( calmly) she accused one of our party for being aggressive and shouting, there was live music on and we could not hear this she had not been aggressively in any way which she then explained and the manager was very stand offish and accused 3 out of 4 of us of being aggressive from the beginning and shouting which we had not, in fact we'd been very calm considering we'd been charged over £15 extra. Terrible service and staff who lie and argue, beautiful bar but will not be back purely for the staff.

Went for a birthday. Half my group arrived first and got in ok. Myself and 2 others refused entry and were told there was no more room despite my party confirming there was plenty of room and their table. Waited a further 20 mins in the rain and despite numerous people leaving, we were still refused entry. This was my first impression and will not be back after that.

We had a terrible experience by the manager who was very rude she has absolutely no people skills & made up lies about my sister.. it's such a shame as the bar is beautiful unlike the staff.. will not be back!!!!

So spent a few hours in here, large party...not necessarily too rowdy, spent he guts of a grand if not more to be told to leave because a member of our party pulled a plastic flower out of an arrangement. Pretty sure we could have replaced it in Poundland and wouldn't consider it to be 'wrecking our home'. Such a shame

Really enjoyed our recent visit to the Tipsy Bird. Very cosy interior decor, good live music, really welcoming staff and an excellent cocktail list to keep the tipsy birds happy - I think the 'Tipsy Bramble' was their favourite! I would recommend you give it a go - you won't be disappointed...

Popped in for a wee look on our way home on Saturday evening. What a fabulous place. The doorman was lovely when I enquired if it was ok to go in at 6.30 as people may be eating..... 'your grand cos there's no food here, it's all about the drink'. Gorgeous decor and friendly staff. A great relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back. A wee jewel .

My friend and I visited the Tipsy Bird last Thursday for the first time ever and we were both super impressed by the place. The decor and the atmosphere is fab. The bartender who served us was extremely friendly and recommended cocktails from the menu. The cocktails were the best I’ve tasted in a long time and with the 2 for 1 offer we sampled quite a few. The guy singing later in the evening was amazing - didn’t get his name but he was awesome. We will definitely be back! �

Me and my mum came over from stranraer to visit my sister and she took us to this place for cocktails beautiful place and we loved every cocktail that we had will deffo be back for sure xx

We really had a fantastic night made even better by the live music. Travis & Dan and Drum & Bates both were fantastic and such a mix of music we danced and sang all night. I visited with a few Colleagues for a cocktail making masterclass in October. We had a fantastic time learning how to make the various drinks in our private bar. The quality and number of drinks available was excellent and represented great value for money.



Seamus, who ran the Masterclass, was great. He ensured a relaxed fun atmosphere with a bit of competition in the form of cocktail making races. He tailored the evening around us and made sure everything worked out well. He also taught us a little about the drinks we were making so that we could make them again at home.



I would absolutely recommend this cocktail masterclass to others and I would definitely visit again next time I’m in Belfast.

Great wee place. The decor was brilliant the wife loved the selection of gin cocktails and the live music was great it was a bit loud for my taste but that could just be because I'm getting older lol. I will go back

Every time I have been the staff have been so friendly and the cocktails have been out of this world! From working in hospitality this is definitely one of the best bars in Belfast! The atmosphere and decor are just the icing on the cake! Definitely would recommend

First initial impression of walking into the bar on a Sunday early afternoon, was the appearance is very girly and cute. Then the smell hit me of stale alcohol smacked me up the face. Unfortunately I lifted a cocktail menu fm a nearby table which was soaking wet (eww)...so not feeling very enamoured we went to the bar. Received a dry cocktail menu and was told by the bar staff to take a seat. We hmmed and hammed over the plentiful choices of drinks. When the waitress came over I asked her could the tipsy bird make me a cocktail that i havnt seen on the list. I gave her the ingredient alcoholic drinks...unfortunately they didnt have rhubarb liquer (letdown)..but had rhubarb syrup (not going to do it for me)...i politely declined and instead pkd a long swallow... Now everything was ok fm that point (not takin into account smell which seemed to dispate or the wet menu)...The waitress arrived after a time (obvs genuis at work)..and took our payment (£10 handed over, change £4.10)...no change given and she walked away!!! Confused...so were we...after 10mins I walked up to the waitresa who had served others and asked for my m8s change...waitress stated Im waiting on barstaff to give me yr change dnt worry i will be over soon!!! wtf...felt sooo stupid...Hangon I have never been here b4...is this yr policy to not let customers knw that they wmt get their change immediately or be told to wait...jes to walk away..not even a i dnt carry money so i will wait for yr change...nothing...first time there will i be back ummmmmm......

Luckily was able to find a table upstairs that was big enough for our whole party, and the guy who was doing our table service was fantastic! He made a few mistakes and occasionally was a bit slow but there were 10 of us so hardly surprising. We all loved his humour �

I asked for no ice in my drink twice & both times it came FILLED to the top of the glass. The 2nd time when I said I wanted no ice the bar man rolled his eyes ... not good.

Drinks service let it down, spent half night without a drink because took 20 mins each time to be made and it wasnt even busy!! When walked in told it was waiter service but ended up having to go to bar cuz no one came near us. Really disappointing because it's a lovely place.

Went here tonight for the first time, got the 2 for 1 cocktail deal and was told at the bar all our cocktails were 2 for 1. When the bill came we paid as if everything was the right price, our waitress came back to tell us the bill was £15 short, we paid this thinking maybe we had counted wrong but checked the bill after and realised we'd been charged full price for 4 drinks, we asked the waitress who asked for the bartenders details when she ignored us twice after we called her over and asked if she'd questioned it, she then accused us of lying, we asked to speak with the manager who came over and once we explained the situation ( calmly) she accused one of our party for being aggressive and shouting, there was live music on and we could not hear this she had not been aggressively in any way which she then explained and the manager was very stand offish and accused 3 out of 4 of us of being aggressive from the beginning and shouting which we had not, in fact we'd been very calm considering we'd been charged over £15 extra. Terrible service and staff who lie and argue, beautiful bar but will not be back purely for the staff.

Pretty sure we could have replaced it in Poundland and wouldn't consider it to be 'wrecking our home'. Such a shame

Wonderful little find. Great music and lovely cocktails. Bar tender was on her own and could have done with help but she was very capable. Will definitely visit again and look forward to checking out the other floors.

Went sat night past and reserved a table we got our own waitress emma and stephaine helped out too both girls were lovely n bonus we didnt need leave r table to go to the bar. Decor is lovely and good atmosphere and the live music was really good and bar prices wasn't that bad actually reasonable.will be back

A waitress called Shauna came and introduced herself & said she would be looking after our table for the evening that she did. She was very attentive & kept the drinks flowing all night.

There were three different bands on, all fab.

We will defo be back soon (though will have to wait for this hangover to pass)

Went in on Tuesday night around 7,very impressed by the decor,the atmosphere was very welcoming,was offered table service however we just got our drinks at the bar and brought them to a table at the back which we would not have seen had we not used the toilets (very clean which is a +). Very spacious with a very good cocktail menu, will definitely be returning!

Was there for the first time on frid night had a ball staff and the bouncers which to be fair normally get spoke about for wrong reasons were lovely. Would highly recommend the tipsy bird . Will defo be be back......

Was in on sun evening.. staff met us at door. Really friendly.. beautiful bar... hubby said Guinness was perfect.. Will be back for a girls night for the cocktails, which looked amazing...cant fault!

Visited for first time on Saturday night prior to Lush Classical at SSE Arena. Lovely spot, nice decor, friendly staff and a great live singer. Such a pity we had to leave for our gig. Definitely be back soon.
