There was 13 of us inc kiddies so it was a wee bit frazzled as one was teething but staff were v good and we just went for mains which I have to say were delicious Def be back

The meal service price and friendly staff was without fault on Sunday night. It was very cold in the restaurant even the children complained. We did remark while a waiter was serving drinks but he totally ignored it. It became a little warmer when we were about to leave perhaps the extra warmth from more bodies present. I hope this is taken on board especially in the coldest weather this winter. Marie Conway.

My wife and myself decided to try The Water Margin as we are both big lovers of Chinese food.

When we arrived the restaurant was absolutely buzzing,which was a good sign.

We thought we would have no chance of getting a table,but after about 2 minutes we were shown to our table.

Starter was excellent,we had the mixed oriental platter.

I had Char Sui and my wife had sweet ‚Äėn‚Äôsour crispy chicken for main course,both were delicious.

The staff were so friendly and attentive,can’t wait for our next visit

How a beautiful meal here tonight . It was my birthday service was 5ÔŅĹfood was execllent . Manageress was great we will be back here . Execllent place . Thankyou for a lovely night see you all soon.x

Had an absolute beautiful lunch here with my mum today after winning a competition. The staff were excellent and so attentive, the food was excellent and fast coming out and overall just a great experience. I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

Had a 60th Birthday party tonight. 10 adults. And 3 kids....it was fantastic. The service was great as some of the orders from us where complicated ÔŅĹ but the staff where great. And the food was amazing.

Thank you so much for a great night. We will deff b back.

They even sang happy birthday and my mum cried :,) fab night. Thanks again

Fantastic food in a wonderful spot, friendly staff can't fault the place, the service was immaculate being seated, drinks order, food arriving definitely not the experience some others appear to have had

Booked a table for our son's birthday and had a wonderful meal and great service as usual. We have eaten here many times since it opened and have always been impressed. Super good, brilliant staff and beautiful location.

Always get our take away from here, food is amazing and they also make our order exactly how we want it. Always perfect! Staff also friendly and always remember our order and names. Cannot fault this Chinese, it‚Äôs our favourite! ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Staff very helpful and friendly. Second time we have dined here and found food very tasteful both times.

To be put in the corner and then forgot about I had to try and get someone to order a drink only to find he goes away with the order to then ask another person to see what was keeping him with the drinks he had forgot what we had ordered but didn't come back to ask not good at all was there on tues night they had no cheesy garlic bread and none on sat night I asked if they have had any any time and he said no why is it on the menu ????

Had a meal for my brothers birthday, he goes every year, it's his favourite restaurant. I can't fault the food at all, food was lovely but the service was appalling we waited ages to get out order taken waiters kept walking past us...we waited an hour and a half before our main came and half an hour after our meal before our dessert order was taken my mum had to say what's going on the place was nearly empty at this point so it wasn't because it was busy, waiters were walking past us all night and another table had waited even longer on they're dessert... just very disappointing as we do normally love coming here...

Disappointed with being stuck in the corner with no window and then forgot about. Drinks order taken and then forgot about. No cheesy garlic bread for the second time in a week. Strawberry daiquiri was nothing like a strawberry daiquiri. It's supposed to be like a slush puppy texture and not a lot of ice chips with a strawberry coloured liquid in it. Won't rush back.

We visited on Sunday evening with our three children... My son said I know we haven't had any food yet but I'd like to come back here!! Unfortunately we have all decided we will NEVER come back!! The service was possibly worst we have ever experienced... There was a delay of more than 30 mins between starter and main course... After the main course I eventually had to ask for someone to please clear the table... I was expecting to then be given a dessert menu.... We weren't.... So we had to ask for this... Someone else brought us one before the person we actually asked returned with one... And then we had to wait..... Again.... Until someone eventually returned to take our order....

To top all of this off some of the food was 'OK' and some was awful.... The chicken nuggets for one child were 'not nice' but it was the chicken curry that was really disappointing... My daughter loves chicken curry and it is a popular choice for her... One taste was enough for all of us... It was so 'unpleasant'. We did mention this to the girl who cleared our table... She smiled and said "really". She clearly didn't mention this to any other staff as when we went to pay this was news to them.... We pointed out that we a) never complain and b) we're not looking for money off our bill ... The poor service was acknowledged though.... But the whole visit was a disappointment from start to finish... we didn't get any money off the bill FYI... And we will NEVER be back.

We had hoped to have lunch here today as we have always enjoyed the food but the restaurant was so cold. The radiators had barely any heat in them. It was a cold day and we didn't fancy shivering through our lunch so we went elsewhere. Come on folks you can do better than that. Stop being so stingy with the heat!!!!

The food was a disgrace £12 for a starter, 4 pieces of dried out food on a plate. So much for a sharing platter. The mains were tasteless and again lacking in quantity and quality. Complained to the manager who informed me that it was my fault for not ordering enough food. The amount of food was inadequate that the children had to be taken to McDonalds. II will never put my foot in that restaurant ever again and I recommend you do likewise. A WASTE OF £185!!!
