Tollymore Gate Lodge

Unfortunately I made the booking over a year in advance. During this time we found out we are expecting. I visited the property to see if it would work with a baby. Thankfully I did and contacted the owners to cancel as the property is too small to even fit a pram! It is at the very back exit of Tollymore, tucked in a small, dark corner and on a main road making it extremely dangerous for my other children with the cars exiting the park along with the busy main road. The property was described as being child friendly and pet friendly. There is no way I could bring either my pet or children here.
I asked the owners if they would be kind enough to refund the deposit of £187 because of the baby, they refused. Since speaking with others around the property this does not surprise me at all. I have had to cancel and lost a lot of money at a time when it is much needed. Only good thing is we didn’t pay the rest early, I could not have relaxed if we did stay due to the position of this property.

Beautiful little cottage with all modern amenities and comforts. One not to be missed.

Stayed here once in autumn - beautiful log stove, real fires in the bedrooms, amazing place.
