Whilst providing medical cover at #Lisburn Rugby Club this afternoon, our Clinical Lead Andy met the newest addition to the TransMed team.
This is baby George, born two weeks ago to proud parents Chelsi and David. Chelsi is our Director of HR and David, well David tries his best....we’ll leave it there.
George might be a tad bit small for a uniform just yet, but he will no doubt be spoilt rotten by his TransMed Aunts and Uncles.

This morning we checked for any damage caused by #StormAli yesterday.
Whilst our fleet survived the weather, the beautiful #petunias planted by our Clinical Lead did not.
Inconsolable is the only word we can use to describe the pain and despair felt by senior management this morning.

Today our staff provided medical cover for an end of season parade in Antrim.
A great opportunity for one or two of our Belfast “born and bred” staff to see some different scenery for a change. Was almost like a school outing for some of them!
All passed off without any seriously ill patients, just your normal blisters from some taking part.

Nobody wants their holiday to end with a visit to hospital.
Unfortunately for one such traveller, they needed urgent medical assessment when their ship docked in #belfastharbour recently.
Our crew were tasked by the ships medical personnel, to collect the patient, provide intermediate life support and convey them to a #Belfast hospital for further treatment.
... We heard from that passenger this week, he’s now back at home and doing well after a short time in hospital. It was great to hear of his progress and we wish him all the best for the future.
