Having recently graduated from the University of Ulster with a degree in Fine Art, I have had the fantastic opportunity to be based in Spectrum Centre Artist Resident studio.
I work within the boundaries of photography, drawing and painting to explore mark-making. I find using differing time-based processes interesting, ranging from darkroom development of photographs to instant polaroid images.
Time is an important element of my work, history and memory is contemplated through my focus on process.

He was a lovely watercolour portrait that I created this month for a lovely Birthday present!
Angela commissioned this beautiful gift for her partner’s Birthday. He has a passion for raising and racing pigeons - with Ronnie being his favourite and best achieving bird of all. What a fab present!! ❤️

This week we learnt about the importance of values in painting. ‘Value’ describe how light or dark something is and it’s essential to learn and apply if you want to create a painting with great depth and form.

I’ll be teaching some fun, animal themed arty workshops for children this Saturday & Sunday at The Duncairn to celebrate it’s 4th Birthday!!
The workshops will last for one hour and there will be lots of fun making, sticking, colouring and creating! Booking is essential, ring the Duncairn on 028 (90) 747114 to book your little one(s) in!
£6 per workshop or if you book 2 workshops on Saturday or Sunday, it’s £10 for the two sessions. (Note: both workshops should be Saturday ...or Sunday)

I’m excited to be teaching the Watercolour class at Ards Arts Centre this term. If you’d like to learn the basics of this beautiful medium in a relaxed, creative environment - or if you’re looking for a refresher course it’s perfect for you!
The course runs on Tuesdays from 11am-1pm starting on the 22nd of May and enrolment is open tomorrow from 9am via phone or in person at the centre.
