True Harvest Seeds

THS is a local charity dedicated to preserving our native-origin wild flora, veg, agricultural and industrial crop seeds from the island of Ireland.

THS is a local environmental charity dedicated to preserving native and naturalised open pollinated wildflowers through their seeds, as well as holding open pollinated food seeds; all from the whole island of Ireland.
We are currently making collections of wildflower seeds to hold in our gene bank. The collections consists of 5 parts and are undertaken so that no more than 20% of the seed available on the day are removed from the wild.
The seeds are preserved in deep cold, but can be requested by suitable organisations for restoration projects.
We run a production unit which is a working area for staff, volunteers and groups to join in and learn the ancient art of seed growing and saving.
We are a charity run completely from donations, grants and fees directly from conservation work.
