Trummery Swim School Moira

Here is one group of children who have completed an enjoyable course learning to swim at Trummery this week. A great way to start the summer. Well done to all the children who took part and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Summer Swim Week - Due to a couple of last minute cancellations there is space for OLDER BEGINNERS (8-11 years) in our Intensive course THIS WEEK at 11.15am each day. Please share with anyone you think may be interested. Cost is £48 for the remainder of the week (4 x 45 minute lessons). PM me if interested.

Big focus on summer water safety next week at Trummery during the last week of term. Both the RLSS and RLNI have great websites full of information on keeping you and your family safe around water over the holidays.

Classes will all have a water safety emphasis this week to tie in with the RLSS UK Drowning Prevention Week. Water safety, especially in the summer months, is a message that we are passionate about teaching along with swimming skills.

There has been a fantastic response already this year to our Intensive Summer Swim Weeks. Update on availability:
Week 1 (1-5 July) all new beginners classes are now fully booked. A couple of spaces remain for Oct 2 & 3 classes.
... Week 2 (29 July to 2 August) availability in our New beginners class for 6-7 year olds at 5.45pm, and also for older beginners (8-11 years approx) at 6.30pm.
Classes last for 45 minutes each and the week's lessons cost £60. PM or call Lynne on 07793 434392 if interested.

With summer fast approaching, lots of people have been in touch asking about our intensive summer swim weeks. Classes available this summer will be NEW BEGINNERS, OCTOPUS 1-3, & ROOKIE LIFEGUARD BRONZE AWARD. Swimming classes will last for 45 minutes* and will cost £60 for the week. Rookie Lifeguard class will be one hour per day and cost £75 for the week. So here are the details, please PM/phone us if you are interested in a space... Just received acknowledgement of our donation to Action Cancer which proves I can't count. You raised well over £720!!! 🤩

Handing over our bucket with the amazing £683.10 donated to Action Cancer from our coffee & shortbread week. Thank you once again to all our lovely members who gave so generously! We'll have to make this an annual event.

Just a reminder to our members that pool is closed this week for half-term break. Winter Term starts Monday 5th November. Have a nice week off 🙂

Pre-school swim classes available in our new term, commencing on Mon 5th November. Ideal for children aged 3-4 to develop water confidence and learn the basics of swimming with a parent in the water. PM me for availability. 9-week term, costs £80. Plenty of fun and smiles guaranteed! The term commences 5th November but these classes are timetabled on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Today we have kicked off our Action Cancer Paint the Town Pink fundraising week. Remember to bring some cash and support this event in return for a cuppa and some delicious shortbread and maybe a wee bun. No better way to pass the time while the kids are having their lesson. Enjoy! 😋

Lessons are cancelled this afternoon due to the stormy weather conditions. Hoping everyone remains safe and well. Customers will be in formed in due course of alternative lesson for today's missed class.

The spaces advertised for the Wed 2.15pm class beginners class are now allocated.

Due to a few last minute timetable changes, we are able to offer four New Beginner spaces this term for 5 year olds and over. The slot is a WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON @ 2.15pm. This will probably only suit children who attend the closest primary schools, Maghaberry and Meadow Bridge. Normally any spaces that come available would be allocated to children on the waiting list but because of the limited amount of children that this will suit and the tight time-scale to get this organised, I am advertising it out this way.
