The Ulster Pork and Bacon Forum, which was set up in 1985 to consolidate the marketing and promotion of locally produced pork and bacon, has made intensive efforts in recent years to establish Northern Ireland pigmeat. The Forum play an active role in the Agri Food Sector utilising their demonstration kitchen to sample the unique taste of locally farmed Pork. Many of their recipes follow current nutritional guidelines and are distributed to the public in the form of recipe cards.

The demonstration kitchen is also available to hire and has been used across Northern Ireland to launch various events.
