a cool place for degenerates like me! so glad I found a place where I can fully come out of my shell and spend my time with other stinky individuals such as myself! :D

User

We went to the Harry Potter night last night and it was brilliant! It was actually in whites and they had the bar decorated like the Three Broomsticks. We had a really good night. The cocktails were lovely and the food was gorgeous. The staff were great. We will definitely go back for another themed dinner night.

User

Took my 5 year old for Harry Potter day today and we had such an awesome time! The staff were amazing, couldn’t have been nicer even though it was pretty busy, very attentive! The food was such good value, we got a fiver pizza and freak jar between us and we couldn’t even finish it! Loved how the place was decorated too, so many lovely wee touches! Really enjoyed getting to watch the films without being rushed to leave and my son (and me, lets be honest!) loved making wands Thanks for such a good afternoon, we’ll definitely be back!

User

This is possibly one of my new favourite places in Belfast. There's such a chilled atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. It's the sort of place you could lose yourself for several hours until you get kicked out. Emma (who I think was the manager) was really nice and kept talking to us even while they were getting ready for their Game of Thrones night. Definitely recommend.

User

The road is long and will always be, you are tired after walking back from your last adventure. Is a pouch of gold really worth it, those life that have past ....friends and foes bloodied and the injuries...ouch.. your right side still hurts...You are at a crossroad, tired...tired of walking away from a dying land with dying people. And the smell that followed you which you now used to...The mission is done. Two severed head in a bag...not long for the reward... Country side after country side, farms and rolling hills...you are not far... it’s dark... you know you are near...You hear some noise....

Our second time visiting this place and absolutely loved it. First time was to see the IT screening and the second was for the True Blood day.No doubt we'll be regulars. The atmosphere is great, the food is delish and the millshakes are amazing. The staff are some of the nicest staff i have ever dealt with. Really genuine and friendly and really attentive. Couldnt recommend this place enough. A wee gem of a place

Me and 5 friends literally messaged this bar out of the blue looking a DM for our group, from start to finish we were welcomed, looked after and provided for! I CAN NOT fault this establishment in ANY WAY shape or form. Absolutely fantastic night, their in house DM is excellent (and hilarious to boot) their milkshakes are something I've never experienced before in my life! Seriously try the brownie milkshake! The staff on, on the night were great, friendly and helpful and honestly we did kinda just drop in on the DM and he took us in literally on the spot and started a campaign. 11/10 they've got 5 new regulars in us one love!

User

Lovely friendly staff, had a fab day gaming with my daughter. We will definitely be back plus the freak shakes are awesome

User

Just home from an absolutely fantastic night at your harry potter dinner, the attention to detail was brilliant from the decor, the menu and cocktails, not to mention the fantastic service from start to finish. Incredibly good value for money and really high quality food. Cannot wait until the next one! Best Tuesday night dinner I've had in a long time, thanks guys

I went to the Monday evening Games Knight for the second time last night. The first night I met up with a Dungeons and Dragons DM who helped me create my own character, which then got taken off on an adventure when some other people turned up also interested in D&D. Last night, I thought I would try to help support the bar financially, by buying something to eat there; unfortunately they don't do pizzas on Mondays I found out. However, because one of the members of my D&D party had brought a box of cereal, the bar staff kindly lent me a bowl and spoon and gave me some milk to have it with. Fantastic service! I did manage to buy some drinks, though, so at least I spent some money... ;-)

User

I love this place, it has retro gaming, board games, cool decor, the staff are always fantastic, the food and theme days/nights are brilliant

User

Had a movie day here, was fab, our pizzas and milkshakes were to die for

Dealing with daniel and emma over the past weeks while organising a suprise party, couldn't have asked for better people to deal with both very helpful and know how to put on a good night. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the food is probably the best ive had at a party. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who's thinking of having a party or just caling for food 10/10.

User

Came here for the first time last night, and will be back very soon! A bar where you can play Cards Against Humanity is always going to be a winner, not to mention all the consoles, comics, drinks and board games on offer! Emma was incredibly friendly and very welcoming, can't wait to return!

User

Came for the pokemon event and it was really creative loved the fact that the original episodes were playing. Reminded me of my childhood. The food and drinks were fun as well especially the two cocktails pikachu jam jar and squritle jam jar. Very enjoyable . Wish I could have played the monopoly game but didn't want to interrupt people already playing. Thoroughly enjoyed and hope it's done again soon. Also the bar man was lovely. Seems like such a fun place to work

User

Called in yesterday evening with my boyfriend and as soon as we saw the game stations, comic stand and boardgames lined up we knew we were in heaven. A kind gentleman had ordered a pizza but since it was 2 for 1 kindly offered us his other pizza for free ☺ also tried their freak jar which was unlike anything we ever tasted, it was delicious 😋 after that two lovely girls offered us a game of Cards Against Humanity (which brought out the dark side of everyone involved 😂). Really friendly people with a nice chilled atmosphere, will definitely be back! Loved every minute of it ☺

User

Very small but a good bar nonetheless, good atmosphere and good staff.

User

Relaxed place, good food, well priced and immense fun. Will definitely be back

User

Came to the pokemon event with my 7 year old son and my partner, never been to the bar before so wasn't aware of the dress code, nor did it state in the advertisement on Facebook what to wear or what not to wear, travelled from newtownabbey and parked, walked over to the event to be told by a member of staff and a supervisor that I, and my family had to leave as I was wearing tracksuit bottoms, I then had to go over to my son and tell him that we had to leave because of the way I was dressed. After arguing that the reason I came here was so my son could enjoy the event, I was still turned away. The staff did speak to the manager and I was still refused service, the situation was handled very poorly and I am personally e-mailing the manager, a Childs day out spoilt for me wearing tracksuit bottoms and the fact I was unaware that I couldn't, which still didnt matter, will be the first and last time I step foot in that place, not gutted for me but more for my 7 year old son who was quite upset we couldn't stay!!!

The cocktails were lovely and the food was gorgeous. The staff were great. We will definitely go back for another themed dinner night.

I did manage to buy some drinks, though, so at least I spent some money... ;-)

Came here for the first time last night, and will be back very soon! A bar where you can play Cards Against Humanity is always going to be a winner, not to mention all the consoles, comics, drinks and board games on offer! Emma was incredibly friendly and very welcoming, can't wait to return!
