Vanilla Sky Cakes Description
I have been baking cakes since I was a child, and started becoming interested in sugarcraft 2 years ago. I decided to turn this into a business at the end of 2010. I will work with you throughout the process from design to delivery to help create a piece of cake heaven, and the focal part of your occasion. I am based in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, and can accept requests from anywhere in Northern Ireland. I work from home and my kitchen has been passed, and awarded 4 stars, by the local Environmental Health authority.

Nichola is based in Antrim and her cakes are out of this world - so much so that she has been nominated and won awards. Please like her page and consider her for your celebration cakes. It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that I will be taking an extended break from the business for the foreseeable future and do not know at this stage if I will be closing it completely. The orders that have been secured with a deposit will go ahead however from now I will not be taking any further orders. This has been a very difficult year for me after losing my mum in February and has taught me that life is too short. I want to spend my free time with my family no...t in the kitchen! I have agonised over this decision for months but my mind was made up when my daughters told me that I never have any time to spend with them. I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to my customers over the past 4 years, especially those who come back every year and who I have formed friendships with. Thank you for showing me that I could do it and I could do it well - with help from my very patient and talented husband, of course! Keep an eye out for the last of my cakes over the next couple of months xx

My youngest daughter turned 4 on Friday and she asked for a Frozen cake, of course, with an edible Olaf! The bottom tier is a snowy mountain made from vanilla sponge and salted caramel buttercream (her choice!). The top tier is a castle made from chocolate sponge and Oreo buttercream. The castle is fully edible as is Olaf and edible pictures of Anna and Elsa (I didn't have room for the models!)

It's that time of year again - my eldest daughter's birthday! This year she won the fight and I agreed to do a One Direction themed cake. This is a 5 layer chocolate sponge filled with Oreo buttercream. Decorated in pleated sugarpaste, ombre pink to white and with edible 1D themed pictures.
Do any of you know anyone in the Carrick area that fixes screens for Samsung S3 phones? Guess who just dropped their phone :(
