😍 How cute is Simba 😍
He was in today for a wound check after getting neutered. He was so relaxed in the vets he even went out the back for a wee bit of exploring and to see the other animals that were in. πŸΎπŸ•πŸ’” for a young pup he was so good at his commands by his owner. 10 points to Simba βœ”πŸ‘

We recommend you move your small furries inside when the temperature drops, but remember not to place them too close to radiators. They can suffer heat stress and can become ill if they overheat. If you keep your small furries outside, give them extra bedding and consider moving their enclosure to a more sheltered location.

Take a few seconds to check this winter before heading out in your car. Cats will curl up next to anything hot to keep warm, which can include under the bonnet of a car. Banging on your bonnet before driving off is a good idea to ensure no cats are sleeping or hiding under there.

Miley was in for her post op check after getting spayed. Healing really well and will be back next week for her stitches out. While miley was here she decided to type up her own notes. πŸΎπŸˆπŸ€—πŸ˜πŸ’˜

🐈Winter post🐈
Anti-freeze solution is poisonous to cats when ingested!
Just a small amount can cause kidney failure and if left untreated it can rapidly be fatal. Surprisingly anti-freeze tastes good to cats, so any spills should be cleared up immediately and thoroughly, even if it's just a small amount. Signs of anti-freeze poisoning can show within 30 minutes of ingestion.
... If your cat shows any signs of breathing difficulties, acts drunk and uncoordinated, is sleepy or depressed, is vomiting or having seizures you should contact us immediately.

User

amazing vets, so so friendly.. extremely affordable especially for the amount of care the animals are shown, couldn't do enough for my American bulldog when he was in, lovely people

User

Vets Dani & Louise were very good with my wee sick cat. They were kind and gentle with her til the very end. When you get vets who are compassionate you have a good vet. They are few and far between. I won't hesitate to use there services again.

User

Puppy Party ! What a fantastic idea. Would really recommend it. Luna was able to meet and greet other pups. Such a positive fun visit to the dreaded "vets" Thank you Louise and your team for Inviting us to take part. Congratulations on your first successful year at Crescent Link.

Just wow! I have a tiny Pug puppy called Betty who took a terrible skin condition on her head. I went to another vet who made me feel like a terrible owner and had Betty screaming blue murder in pain. I left there none the wiser (more confused, upset and scared) with antibiotics and no idea why she was taking them. I was in getting food at pets at home and Martin told me to ask the vet in there just in case (thanks Martin). Betty was seen that evening by Danni who was amazing to say the absolute least. She was gentle with Betty and talked me through everything! This put me at so much ease and made me feel like I'm not doing such a terrible job after all. She has Betty on a bathing regime and new food to boost her immune system and tablets to help her. My eyes welled up during this appointment out of the sheer emotional relief Danni gave me with her swift diagnosis. I can't thank you enough Danni, you're a credit to that team! Thank you from Betty and Laura.

I got a stray cat given to me last night. I choose to go to vets4pets as it's close to my home.I was very impressed with the care & treatment wee poppy received. Louise even showed me round the surgery which I just loved as I'm mad about animals. It will definitely be my vets from now on..

User

I can not thank these ladies enough for everything they have done for my wee cat Arlow. He got the most amazing care and kindness shown to him over his time in there. They gave me updates and allowed us to visit and we knew he was in great hands from the moment they seen him. Thank you ladiesοΏ½ I’m so grateful to you all οΏ½

Having our Boxer, Bruno, for 8.5 years obviously we were totally heartbroken when he passed away very suddenly. We contacted Vets4Pets about having him cremated. The level of professionalism we were shown was second to none. Veterinary Nurse Rosie Reid handled everything for us and showed compassion and empathy at all times. I cannot praise the standard of service highly enough.

User

Had my wee oldie in on Saturday for a wee sore on her side. She isn't the easiest treated as she can be grumpy and a little snappy but Louise was super....made friends with her and she relaxed and then Tilly happily let Louise examine her. I'm delighted as vet trips with Tilly are normally dreaded! No muzzle needed and she is well on the mend οΏ½ thank you xx

User

Fantastic, my dog ruptured her cruciate ligament and we went to see Louise and within 2 days we were in having surgery on her leg, the care she received was fantastic and above and beyond what I expected, the whole team is is soo friendly and approachable, the dog was happy to see us but hesitant to come home as she had such a relaxing time being fed chicken οΏ½. U can really tell they go the extra mile. Thanks everyone for all you help :)

User

Cannot thank Louise and the girls enough for everything they have done for our fur-babies! Would not trust anyone else! Fantastic staff!

User

Brought our wee dog Bentley today as he appeared to be experiencing a lot of pain as he was yelping when moving and shivering. Immediately Louise the vet said she thought it was his neck. After an x-ray spine issues in the neck confirmed. Bentley is having an over-night stay with what can only be described as a professional surgery with the staff that clearly love animals. Highly recommended.

User

Been in twice so far and they are all lovely. Very approachable with a can do attitude. Louise has really helped with my new rescue dog and with my other dog. Much appreciated as it has been a steep learning curve. Weekend appointments are so convenient. And it's great to be in our favourite Sunday shop too.

User

Amazing bunch of ladies who genuinely care so much about animals. Louise is amazing at her job, she shows so much love for the animals and so much empathy when tough decisions have to be made. They have been amazing and so supportive with the scarr rescue and nothing is any trouble οΏ½

User

All I can say is Excellent Staff, wonderful care and the most compassionate vets I have had an experience with regarding the euthanasia of an old, much loved family pet. I will mention Louise (vet), Leona & Laura as they are the names I can remember. I attend two other surgeries due to the amount of animals I have & can say they don't even start to measure up. Well done οΏ½

Absolutely 5 star treatment! Couldnt fault them in any way! Our dog Finn had a nasty break in his leg, it was broke in 2 places and due to arthritis in his joints there was concern that he might not heal fully. Thankfully his vet Louise gave him every possible chance and ordered him a plate and completed the surgery. Louise reassured us that this was the best option as the other 3 legs couldn’t take the weight long-term due to the arthritis. From the moment we took him the care and treatment he received was second to none. He was so well looked after by all the team and Louise was absolutely amazing, she spent time with us and Finn to make sure we all fully understood what was happening and for that we are very grateful. I am sure if you have a dog you will understand, that when they are unwell it is very upsetting. Finn is now at home but is recovering well, he has weekly appointments for the dressing change. I can honestly say I have never seen a dog as happy about going to the vets but Finn definitely is, which I can only put down to how well they treated him for the 2 weeks he stayed. Finn only has to hear Rosie’s voice and is already hopping along with tail wagging to the treatment room for his dressing change. Although there is a long road ahead to full recovery, we just wanted to take this opportunity to spread the word of the excellent care and treatment they provided which will never be forgotten. Thank you so much to all the team at vet4pets. οΏ½

5* doesn't even come close to how absolutely amazing Louise and her team are!! I first went to the clinic with community cat fluffy and he was treated so well by all the staff even though he's not always the friendliest stray kitty he got the very best treatment and after a few weeks cage rest and meds he was bk to living his life x then I took my older husky girl Marley In for a check up and to have a wart looked at and within minutes of meeting her Louise had discovered she had a massively enlarged heart something our previous vet had missed and now she's on the road to recovery x and since yesterday they have taken in two tiny lil souls named skittles and joy two stray baby kittens who I know will thrive under their care x thanks guys n keep up the totally Pawsome Work xx
