So this week we will be following our vet team Sharon, Anna and Kerensa, exploring their roles with the team.
Theatre work and surgery form a large part of their role, all operations are performed within the fully equipped operating theatre. Strict rules are followed to maintain the sterility of the environment. Sharon will perform a range of operations from neutering your pets to fixing fractured bones.

Anyone remember little Louie? ūüź∂ Louie had surgery on his nostrils 2 weeks ago and was in last night for his final post op check. We are thrilled to be able to tell you how well he is doing, His owners tell us they‚Äôve seen a real improvement in his breathing he‚Äôs now enjoying his walks and living life to the full ūüėäūüėä Well done Louie ūüź∂ūüėć

A very happy Bailey being reunited with his owners after going missing yesterday, he was brought into us earlier today and thankfully because he was microchipped we were able to contact the owners straight away and get him safely home ūüėä‚̧ԳŹūüź∂ we love a happy ending ūüź∂

One of Pam‚Äôs favourite jobs is caring for your pets while they are in our care- closely monitoring their vital signs during recovery from an anaesthetic, ensuring they are always kept warm, clean and comfortable. Working out nutritional requirements, keeping drips running and giving them their medication as needed and of course always giving as many cuddles as they need during their stay ūüėäūüėäūüėä This is gorgeous Geordie recovering from his neutering procedure today ūüźĪ

ūüėä Continuing our Nurse Week Pam our Veterinary Nurse takes and develops the x-ray‚Äôs of our patients this requires an understanding of all the bones and organs as well as the technical aspects of the x-ray machine and developer ‚ėļÔłŹ

Every member of our team at Vets4pets has an important role to play - this week we want to highlight the important role of our wonderful qualified Veterinary Nurse Pam. Each day we will give you a glimpse into the many different aspects of what her job involves
‚̧ԳŹūüź∂ūüėĽūüíäūüíȂ̧ԳŹūüź∂ūüėĽūüíäū üíȂ̧ԳŹūüź∂ūüėĽūüíäūüíČ
Pam will collect and process samples of blood, urine, faeces and skin. In our practice we have up-to-date biochemistry and haematology analysers aswell as microscopy to recognise things like parasites, cells and crystals. All of this provides our vets with the valuable information needed to make a quicker diagnosis for your pets

Say hello to gorgeous Bing ūüėĽ he‚Äôs a little british blue kitten who was in for his vaccines with Kerensa through his ‚Äėbest start in life‚Äô package ‚̧ԳŹūüėä we were all instantly in love with him ūüźĪ

We took our dog, Glenn to the vet today to have a check over and all was good except his weight so we need to make sure he drops the 4 lbs or more. The vet we saw was very nice, very informative, and patient with Glenn. We were very happy with the service and attention given to Glenn. Looking forward to Glenn's weigh in the upcoming weeks. No more tidbits so instead we are introducing Glenn to fruits & veg.

Had to call in for an emergency with my 2 dogs on their first day of opening was seen straight away the receptionist and vet were excellent couldn't give them enough credit! Just hope we are no longer barred after the clean up from my wee babies lol

Called into the vets today with my puppy 2 get his 2 injections, The vet girl that took us was very friendly an helpful, Also give me an my wee girl a tour around it aswell, Will def be using here again in future an would highly reccommend this place, Girls at reception also very helpful

Called in this morning with my pet Charlie to say hello very friendly and welcoming from the receptionist to the vet. Charlie was made a fuss of and even managed to get a few wee snacks!! Also big Thankyou to the vet for giving me and my daughter's a tour of the surgery it made their day.
