Staying in the Slieve Donard for the weekend and thought we’d give a few other restaurants a go, booked here on our second night. Absolutely one of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten in! Starters arrived promptly, mains were perfect and portions were huge! Definitely fantastic value for money and the nicest staff, nothing too much for them! Loved it & will deffo be back!

My husband and I just loved this restaurant. We had a 2 day stay in Newcastle, (Slieve Donard) and both nights we went to this cosy little restaurant. We were made so welcome and the food was not only delicious but top quality and large portions. They had to roll us out of there. The prices were so cheap, too bad it is not in Australia we would eat there every night. The staff were so friendly, and the owner is a genuine and lovely person. I would rate this 10 if I could.

My family and I have dined here several times and cannot fault it for delicious food and warm atmosphere. Villa Vinci is perfect for friends , couples and families alike. I can't resist the Steak Sandwich-it is cooked to perfection and the chips and peppered sauce compliment it so well !The manager is so welcoming and has taken time to chat to us each time we've been in (even very patient with our two busy sons !). The menu is varied with so many tempting dishes and something to suit all tastes! We look forward to our next meal here very soon !

My daughter and i were staying over in the slieve donard decided to check out Villa Vinci as recommended well they were right food amazing service was 1st class and the price was very reasonable more than happy to defo recommend it myself and to eat there again����

Fabulous food with great friends, bit of a boogie in a wonderful atmosphere. Can't beat Villa Vinci.

Great food, atmosphere was buzzing and the whole family left busting full of amazing Italian food.

First time in the restaurant with family tonight- loved it! The atmosphere was immediately welcoming and very friendly- a real life and buzz about the place and it was packed which is always a good sign! The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks and will definitely be back! Lovely staff - friendly and attentive and very efficient without rushing you - we spent a lengthy time over our meal and drinks. Newry is LOST for somewhere as nice ��

First class food. First class service. Can not recommend highly enough. Very reasonably priced. Very family friendly with a great atmosphere. 23 in our party, family get together & everyone loved it. Well done Villa Vinci.

Amazing staff, great surroundings, and the food well it speaks for itself I'd advise anyone wanting great food, nice atmosphere great service and at a great price get yourself to villa Vinci in Newcastle been there quite a few times and never disappoints brilliant wee place ����

Called in on Saturday on spec.The staff were very friendly,and we got a table right away.Great choice of food available,and along with a glass of wine,we really enjoyed it.We haven’t been down this way for almost a year,and were pleased it was still going strong.Great ambience.Thank you once again -Jk

Ate here this afternoon with my partner and small baby. The food was, as always, delicious. All staff were extremely accommodating and pulled tables together to give us plenty of room to feed and eat and keep the pram close by. We had a lovely, relaxed dining experience and will of course be back again :-)

6 of us went to Villa Vinci last Friday night for a school reunion. We arrived at 7 pm ( at time of booking I was told we would have until 8:45 ). Our orders were taken promptly and food arrived quickly. We all agreed our food was lovely. Our plates were lifted from the table at 8:05 and no one came back to offer us desserts or drinks until a waiter came to the table at 8:30 to say he was bringing our bill. We all organised our payment and 2 of our party went out for a smoke. At 8:47 we were told to vacate the table as people were waiting to be seated. We all felt rushed and upset that dessert wasn't even offered.
